I would just like to say, I think you are making a truly beautiful game. You've totally hit the nail on the head with your goal in making a porn game that has an actual plot! Out of all the porn games I've played, I think Lunar's Chosen has become my favorite! Once I discovered it, I binged through it in it's entirety in about 3 evenings. You've really done an outstanding job with your character growth. <3
I do have some thoughts, feedback and suggestions that I hope you'll find useful or intriguing. (Keep in mind I haven't read all almost 300 pages of this forum so please ignore if any of these are repeated ideas or previously addressed things)
- I really had to scratch my head with Imry's character being the 7th main girl. She popped up out of no where, for no reason, and in such a lore driven game she feels extremely out of place. (Comparatively speaking.) I liked her twist with Meg, but I can only hope that she gets development that brings her up to par with the other women in the harem. To me, she even went far enough as to feel like an interloper who stole Missy's rightful spotlight~ (seguing into that) I do hope Missy deserves to get her own spot in the main harem, it's certainly been floating around in dialogue long enough.
-It would be a huge quality of life update if you could revamp the image selection system for the digital poster frames you can upgrade the MC Bedroom with. Having 1 Frame offer different images from Frame 2 causes quite a bit of disappointment. All the images I like are offered on the poster above the bed, while all the images offered by the other one are 'acceptable' at best, and given how often I have to stare at them (and cannot unequip them) it's a constant eyesore.
-Related to the previous point, as a professional photographer, I think it would be really cool if you could offer a rudimentary photoshopping tool. You already have all the studio photos with a completely white background, so if you just offered a choice of like X different backgrounds that can be greenscreened, and allow people to create and save their own combinations into their digital frame posters, that would be SO COOL.
- For any women who use glamours, I sometimes find myself craving one form vs. another. Being able to ask them to put one on or take one off I think would be a really neat addition.
- There was a lovely quantity of small scale side events in this game, but after you experience them the world quickly feels empty in their absence. I think a low-effort solution to this, would be to go through those events, and just alter the dialogue before repeating the event animations. For example, walking through the park and then you run into Fran again. Rather than looping from the beginning where she curses you out, you could have her greet the MC before offering a repeat blowjob of last time. That way, walking through the park doesn't become an empty location like the bookstore. (On this same topic I will just say, if you were able to create like even just 2 other possible dialogues that the game chooses from at random, this would go a LONG way to creating the appearance of dynamic interaction. "Hey, I thought that was you so I decided to jog over" + " I was thinking about you so I decided to go for a run" + "Every time I run through here it makes me feel naughty". ) This way you can reuse the most time consuming elements while dressing up the reuse as an intended repeatable event that avoids the COMPLETELY lazy repeatable events where dev's loop the events as if they never happened in the first place. (I.E. Fran doesn't recognize the MC and curses them out every time)
As a continuation of this, I would also suggest allowing permanent revisits for the city map locations you've visited. Like Claire's yacht, or Amber's mom's house. This would give easy, lore appropriate timesinks. (Assigning a schedule or even a randomized one, where you might find Amy, Claire, or Sam at the yacht.)
Thanks for reading! You've done an amazing job already and I can't wait to see how this game continues to develop!
