I am following the walkthrough and it keeps telling me I should be finding a book at certain locations but they simply aren't there. I should have 8 but only have 2.

so i'm going to play through the game now that it's finished and noticed i'm not sure if i have to put the dlc for Season 2 in the main season game folder it does have it's own exe so is it completely separate and stand alone? if not where do i put the DLC files?
Can someone share name of the new game from this developer, I downloaded, played, deleted after playing but somehow forgot the name, I tried searching with magic or academy but couldn't find it again.

If i gonna play the game, should i download all 4 parts or 4 part includes all previous parts?

You can play any part by themselves. But if you want to know what is really going on in the plot, you need to play all parts. No. Part 4 does not have all previous parts.
what the only thing dont like in this game is the mc's hair.. bro looks like ex convict and autistic.. all girls are all beautiful then heres the most default human looking ever.. its unrealistic

There are some issues with books in the game code. Here you have their possible locations with a small script in the comments to fix it (create a text file in game folder, add the text in quotes, and change the extension) :

Thanks for the reply and instructions! I'd just taken to adjusting the book count to whatever the walkthrough says it should be when I turn them in. I'm mildly paranoid that I will miss the trip to town one of these days if I don't throwing a wrench in everything.
Are you a dev? I rarely see such concise fixes and directions.

I am playing season 1 sandbox. I peep and get a bit further each time (or with calendar progression, not sure). He worries he will be caught and cuts it off.

Yeah it will do that at some point. But you should be able to progress further over time each night with each person. I am not sure if it is tied to their path progression, calendar time or how many attempts.
It's taken me two weeks in game time to get down to Aubrey's panties. So it is fairly gradual. I still don't get far with Lily, either because I haven't progressed her pathway as far or because I haven't checked on her as many times. Not sure which.

Sorry to tag reply you on something so old but searching the forums I find many times where this has been asked but never answered and it seems like you might be the person.
Do the like/flirts/etc on lustgram make any difference and if so what?
Following your walkthrough and you seem so specific about whether to like or flirt with many posts but some you indicate no response on. Does this all add up to something?

I'm not a developer, no. I simply prefer to explore all the available content at once, so I generally play games while reading their code in parallel, looking for strange requirements.
Sometimes I come across cool easter eggs, sometimes I get confirmation that the game isn't behaving as expected.
And when the platform used is as open as renpy, it's easy to find information to make a quick fix.
Books are generated every morning using the generate_books() function, which defines a table with the books found in the academy, another with the campus, then chooses randomly three books in the academy and one in the campus. You will not find the books at the same places than in another gameplay. You can find four per day (if you fix the cafe), but while it's always good to have some in reserve it's not mandatory (100 are required for a quest with Amelie in a later season and the rest can be used for points or sold later to upgrade spells).
Note also that while Ahchi's Gameplays are a nice gesture from him, the versions played are not the last available. So as he mentioned there will be changes.
For Lustagram, it only provides some nice photos, and some choices provide answers that add a bit of depth, but there's nothing more associated in the code. I played my games leaving this aside and only opening it at the end.
NeoStarr Assuming you're using the latest version available for PC, peeping should display a few attempts before offering the same choices each day (attempts that are unlocked after trying the previous one). However, I can't find "enough for tonight" in the code, is that the exact text displayed ? Are you using mods ?
If it's just to create a save to transfer to season 2, these choices are not transferred so you may skip this.

There is no confirmed or onscreen pregnancy. But there is one scene where one character asks to be impregnated. However when this character later reappears there is no mention of any pregnancy or child.
So I tried the first one of this a long time ago but immediately bounced off the writing. Does it get better? Is the story worth mentioning?
