This was not about you. Multiple tabs suck sometimes.
Played this for the first time over the last few days and wondering about some stuff.
Is the game just intended to be strictly harem all the way?
No matter how I've tried friend-zoning everyone but the one I wanted to go with it would assume in S2 that the MC is dating all of them (or is at least friends with benefits)
I've even tried literally ignoring everyone else and leaving their story at 0% throughout, and get the same results.
Eg. never once talked to Samantha outside scenes where it happens as a part of the main story, and then suddenly right at the end it's hand/foot job outta nowhere, or never talking to Lily outside meeting her on the first day, and then in S2 she jumps at the MC for a kiss.
Am I just fucking up the save transfer every time, is it bugged, or is that just how the story is supposed to go?
Tried sandbox and VN modes and getting the same results.
It seems like the only one you can be just friends with is Elijah.
I'm not even against harems in particular and wouldn't mind it at all, if it didn't make it seem like it was possible to not have one while simultaneously being one, because that shit's confusing.
Just wish it was more straightforward about engaging in someone's story = getting romantically involved.
Regardless of personal gripes I still really enjoyed it and the characters are great for as far as I've gotten into S2.

Here's answers to a wild guess:
You wanted to buy it on Steam? It IS on Steam. If Steam China doesn't offer it ... well, that's bad luck. Then you should talk to the chinese government.
If the Steam client is the only option for you to buy games and tghe websites are blocked, you must look for the game in the client.
There's alternatives to Steam however - at least in this case. Try GOG:

Season 2.
Fun fact: I kept missing the party. Since there was nothing left to do in the town and I didn't want to see another strip show, I kept fast forwarding to the evening (beedroom events in the scheduler), this way the party never happened. Only when using the standard time forwarding or starting a event that forwards time, the party will happen once the guys return home.

Can't say anything about the VN mode really, sorry.
The party only happens if your house wins the weekly challenge. It's repeatable and one of four(?) girls can currently be picked to end the evening with. How this coul be integrated into kinetic storytelling ... no idea.
