What does save transfer do? I played S1 and S2 (novel not sandbox) long ago. Just wanting to start S3. Will it carry over choices that I made or is this just more of a gimmick for sandbox players? Like carrying over money and stats.

Since choices don't seem to matter anyway, I would not bother in VN mode. I think once in a while you get a summary about what you did with a certain character, but that's it.

Its useless for Sandbox too, at least for android anyway. I followed instructions and it will not let me move my save over. After the getting to the third version and having to virtually start all over again for the third time in a row, I'm done.
This character's story is at its current end and will usually continue in the next season/semester.
The screen changes in a later season with separate event-blocks, so it's easier to comprehend. A pity they haven't bothered yet to revamp the old seasons with such improvements.

Has the Dev reworked earlier seasons 1 & 2 to current quality as well? I can see some rework points in the changelog on the OP.

So I should not bother to continue on Android and the save transfer does not work? Just asking because I am really early in Season 1 and it would be no problem for me to switch to the pc Version. Just dont want to play to the end and then seeing that I have to start from the beginning again...

How would you get your android save to PC anyway if not by copying files? Savegame transfer is not to transfer between devices, but to transfer inventory and stats from season 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4.
And if you play VN mode without inventory and stats, you can just ignore it completely. Each season is a separated program.
