It says it's pointless to raise both love and domination. But a few hours later, Kelly opens the door to Olivia and it's game over. We shouldn't follow domination path with her?
You have to keep the love above a certain threshold (10%, I think?) with the two girls until you get domination high enough (not sure on the exact number, but over 50% at least), or else you will get a game over. The game doesn't sign-post this super well, and that message makes it very confusing.

Yeah, I figured it out. Love part is much easier should have done it first then switch to domination..
