Very nice game! All of the girls and MILFs are pretty and attractive with their unique beauty. Good story with humorous dialogues and renders make you burst into laugh or emotional plot touch deeply in you heart. I almost read every line even after using the walkthrough mod.
Too pity it's just the beginning of developing of the game so that there still no much contents, looking forward the updating.
By the way, it will be perfect if could plant moan voice into animations, wow……,could not image it……。

Can't seem to be able to launch this game on Linux ? There is no .sh executable, only a .exe and a .py

Try googling "what the frick is a py file" and/or "how to use a py file on linux".
Yeah I tried launchy the py file by doing "python Lust\ Bound.py" in a terminal, but I just get errors about libraries, especially about the line "import future.standard_library", which says it doesn't exist, even though it is in the lib/ directory.
I tried adding "game folder/lib" to my path, but didn't work either, that's why I asked here.
And I also mentioned the .sh file because I usually get a "game name.sh" file alongside the .exe and .py

Edit : I downloaded the file from the Mega link on OP, maybe it helps

I use the emulator for Windows "Wine", it works very well, I never had problems running exe files on Linux
I will probably end up doing that, since nothing else seems to work. I was just asking because the compressed version from the previous page works, as there is a sh executable provided. I was just wondering if there were any files missing from the uncompressed version from Mega, since there isn't even a py3-linux-x86_64 folder inside the lib one, only py3-windows-x86_64 and python3.9, which isn't the case with the compressed version.
I just don't understand how to run the uncompressed version natively on Linux, but I must be doing something wrong given the previous answer from theMickey_

Yeah I tried...
Sorry for my last comment which was snarky, because I always assume people using Linux and asking questions like "how do I run..." have no idea of how Linux works. My bad.

So here's a possible solution on how to run this game on Linux, I haven't tested it though:

  • Make sure the game has the python libraries for Linux in its "lib" sub-directory. If it doesn't come with Linux libraries, copying the libraries from another Ren'Py game with a matching version should work.
  • Speaking of other games: most Ren'Py games come with a default .sh file, which is identical no matter the game! I've just checked like 4-5 games that have a .sh file, and they're all exactly the same. Therefore you should be able to just copy a .sh file from any Ren'Py game to your game's folder and just rename it to the name of the .py file (just with the extension .sh of course) and make sure it's executable.

See if that works.

No worries, I completely understand, it's usually the case, and I can't say I'm an expert when using Linux. :)

About the solution you mention, that's more or less what I ended up doing, I had to copy-paste the python Libraries for Linux from the "lib" sub-directory from the compressed game ("py3-linux-x86_64"), the LustBound.sh file from the compressed game , and rename the "Lust Bound.py" file to "LustBound.py" in order for it to work with the sh file.
But I guess this means that the cracked game isn't directly compatible with Linux, since some (non-trivial, at least for me - even though it's not a hard fix, it's not really documented anywhere) work needs to be done to make it work.

weird, it does have sh file for me, no extra tinkering required
are you downloading from OP page or son's compressed builds, later have sh files by default

dunno if bug or me just failing completely at understanding the code of this section, but im somehow missing a freeroam scene?
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I almost always play with URM on games like this without a detailed walkthrough, and so i noticed suddenly that there is a "path detected" thing during that scene right before you run into the twins, and it barely shifts the dialogue but it implies julie might be willinig to share her bed, heres the thing, the trigger for this is called free_roam_1_julie_completed. now i cant for the life of me figure out where this variable comes from, and considering i have done every single available julie scene i cant really figure out where i would have missed one as the thing was deactive for me. possible bug in that some julie scene isnt showing as it should, or not properly triggering the variable after that cute little pillow fight scene in her actual first freeroam. who knows honestly just thought i should report this as a possible issue, anyone who knows the code better and can provide clarity would be appreciated.

EDIT: Double checked what i was looking at, found the variable, even found where it was triggered, seems that bit of dialogue might have been the problem tho, since it was written so that the MC only says julie might be willing to share her bed if MC DIDNT do her free roam, for some fuckin reason. now i dont know if im a moron, if the MC is just saying weird shit for the sake of it, if the def accidentally wrote NOT, or if i somehow misinterpreted the scene of them growing closer as the reason why MC suddenly feels she may share her bed.

same shit happens as in my previous post with daisy while sitting on the edge of the docks during the scene where she exaplains the sign stuff, weird as fuck seeing the game go from giving romance kissy kissy lines to suddenly missing one, for sure dev fucked up some variables right? wrote NOT a bunch of times when he wasnt supposed to? honestly no idea but its weird as fuck.

EDIT: Found another instance of it happening during the scene on the beach with hyuna during the second days freeroam, when she is stepping out of the water MC says something like "wait is that hyuna" and for some reason if you DID do the thing that gets her to tell you her name, she acts suprised and the MC mentions hearing it from a patron, while for some reason again if you DIDNT get the scene where she tells the MC her name, there is no such scene and she doesnt react to him knowning it. I have gone from assuming the dev maybe messed something up, to fully yeah bros got his variables backwards hard.

Hey, I'm the story writer for Lust Bound.

Thanks for bringing these to my attention. I've played the episode to verify and check, and I will pass these errors on so they can hopefully be fixed. Thanks for taking the time to share this. If you find any other inconsistencies like this with future choice/stat checks, please feel free to let me know. I check in on here fairly regularly, and these kinds of notes are invaluable.

Thanks again.

hey no problem dude, i know what its like on basically every side of this problem, as a writer, dev, and reader. As a reader its vaugely frustrating having to manually force the game with URM to give me the right lines, as a writer it also frustrates me knowing other people might not be experiencing this honestly really great story, and as a dev it frustrates me since this is exactly the kind of problem i have all the time. If i can save anyone else from any of those frustrations then ill just consider it my good deed of the day lol, plus this game seems pretty great aside from that, so why shouldnt i try to help it reach its greatest potential?

Thank you for those affirmations. I'm glad, despite the rough edges, you're enjoying the game and story. Honestly, these kinds of assurances mean so much to me. Writing an AVN has been a dream, a passion of mine for a long time. I have none of the technical know-how to make a game, and I'm so grateful I got a chance to be part of a team that lets me bring my strengths (I hope they're strengths anyway) in storytelling while letting others shine with their own skills and talents. But it does mean at times I don't notice things like the errors you pointed out. When you write something, it's sometimes harder to edit or see the mistakes because you know the story so well, your mind autocorrects everything before your conscious mind can register that there's a problem. :'D

I've got a lot of respect for anyone who manages to juggle all parts of the design process, as you seem to be doing. Please do let me know if you ever find anything else like this. For now, I have brought all your notes forward to the dev team, and hopefully, they should be fixed by the next update.

there were a few more cases of that bug, but honestly it was the only problem i ran into, i already finished the game and honestly really liked what i saw as it progressed further and i got past that problem. really probably just have your dev look over points in the dialogue where a character will be referencing the player having seen a scnee, at one point nearly ever other dialogue was off, though i dont think i noticed any problems with the last twins scene, which was the last one i ended up playing. and yeah i have a lot of respect for anyone who can do it as well, and i have done multiple parts of it before, specifically writing side stories and devving but i was mainly speaking on past experience, as i have devved for a few games before, wrote for one, and handled both side stories and devving one time, though that game shall never see the light of day as it was truly very difficult.

i have high hopes for this game though as the story as a whole seemed pretty interesting, and i already have my guesses on who the antagonist is and their why. the other systems as well seemed really well done aside from that little issue i mentioned which honestly didnt even seem like that big a deal code wise, a simple mistake every dev makes every so often. the freeroam seemed pretty well made and well thought out, and the graphics overall looked pretty great. i never found myself skipping dialogue or thinking anything was made oddly, or wishing something was displayed better and thats far better than i can say for a lot of games, even the ones with higher ratings and things.
