If this one is gonna lean even harder into the sandbox, it'd be nice if there was an option at the start of each sandbox sequence to opt out and just play the maximum amount of content in a cohesive order that still makes narrative sense.

script.rpy is packed in one of the .rpa files.

There's a way to unpack them, but it is not necessary.

If you just drop the modified script.rpy in your "game" folder (tge folder named "game") Ren'Py engine will detect it and ignore the original.

The rule is: if outside the .rpa package there's a script having the same name of a script inside the.rpa package, ignore the one inside the .rpa package and execute the one outside.

For those who are curious about all the branching, download Universal Ren'Py Mod. It will be your best friend if you want to see where all the splits are and what is required for the different branches. There's already a lot of branching going on in Lust Bound, and having URM will help in that regard until a dedicated Walkthrough mod is created.

Yes, that did help. Thank you for pointing out. I unlocked Victoria's lewd scene too.

I'll remember to use URM since the beginning of next update, because using it in fast-forward mode it doesn't stop when detecting branches (and it's quite boring having to forward manually the game once I have already read all the story).

I always follow the games through it and I haven't played this one since november because of that. It's not the first time I've seen this happen. In fact, it's the fourth game I've reported this issue in the last week. 3 of them are from Inceton, Thot on Trial, Resort of Temptation and this one.

Thank you. I didn't know because I'm not following the thread. I play too many games to keep up with them all. The Last Updates page is the best way I've found to keep up to date with releases.

I just feel like an idiot now, since I reported them all. lol

I think there's no bonus content in the v0.4.4 update.

Normally when bonus content is not activated the icon in the top right corner appears nonetheless but it's disabled (if you click it, it says something like pledge more to unlock bonus content).

Yeah none of the recent Inceton updates have had any nude mode, slut angle, or change angle buttons, and I extracted the rpa files. There’s no renders for them in the new content either.

I excused it here in Lust Bound because the update itself was decently big otherwise. But then Thot on Trial was missing it too, among other things that made me think that update was rushed. And now Lust Theory is also missing it in the recent update, and now I’m thinking it might be intentional, which is baffling if true.

Thank you for your feedback. It's really useful.

Obviously, we've been in the 'day off day' for a while now, which has slowed the narrative down a little. The day off day was planned as a grounding event, giving the MC more time to get to know the LI's better, form closer bonds, raise emotional stakes, as well as introducing other issues the characters are facing that link in to the main plot. With such a large cast however, I can see how the work of letting MC connect with the LIs and develop their characters and story has made this section of the narrative drag out and divert from the main story line.

A part of me hopes that the pacing feels off only because of the span of time this 'Day Off Day' has taken in development. It is hard to gauge for certain, but my hope is that when the game is fully released, the sense of progression will feel better and that sense of disconnect from the main story won't hit as keenly as a player will be able to go through this section as they want with no pausing between updates. This is not to diminish the concern, just expressing my hope for how it might feel in a different context of a full game someone is playing for the first time.

Please feel free to give more detail on what is and isn't working for you and what you think is harming the pacing. It truly is good to know these things. But, I am quietly hopeful that the story is naturally reaching a turning point and gear switch soon which will bring the main story and stakes back into center view.

hey, can you tell us if we are anywhere near the twins interacting with each other in any meaningful (sexual) way? I don't expect it next update or anything, but im hoping we aren't waiting like 4+ updates at this point...that's literally years.

Sorry I've taken a while to answer this question. It's one of those ones that I keep second guessing my answer because I don't want to spoil anything and I also don't want to make promises that might bite me down the line.

The trouble is, the length of updates does vary and, beyond this, scene lengths change and adapt over time. Sometimes I write a scene that is really long at first and then I manage to plane down through editing, other times (more often to be honest) I have a scene I think is going to be be easy to accomplish and won't take much time, but then ends up extending beyond what I was anticipating when planning the story and episodes.

It's just the way writing goes sometimes, especially in a living work that is constantly being played with and worked on. It's no exaggeration to say that I am constantly tinkering with EVERY scene that isn't already IN the game so everything is always in flux.

I'm over-explaining I know, but I really want to explain why I don't want to give any kinds of definites answering this question.

I hope, despite my inability to answer you satisfactorily, you understand my reasoning here. I just don't want to set an artificial clock on the twins interacting and stress myself out because I pledged or implied something here.

I hope you can understand and forgive my lack of a more definite answer.
