If I have gathered what they are trying to say correctly it isn't their game being sold on Steam that bothers, it's them complaining on Patreon about the problems they face getting their games on Steam.

It seems quite a few devs have taken to complaining to their Patrons about what they have to go through with Steam.
I would call it communicating. Most subscribers like it when developers tell them what is going on.

I have also read developers who gave long dissertations on their methodologies, the problems they're having in converting to new software, how they have to pause because their relatives are coming to visit, how they have to deal with this or that debilitating illness, how they hate modders, etc. etc.

If anyone doesn't like it, unsubscribing is always an option. I have done that often, but never because some developer wrote about converting their game to Steam.

Bingo. A multi-week series of posts bitching about Steam was mildly interesting the first time I saw it, but I've seen it far too many times to not dread it.

I do admit to owning quite a few AVN's on Steam,
That's kind of where I'm at. I have grabbed AVNs off Steam, but fiddling with the settings was a pain so I don't do it often. I don't want to share with my friends & family the fact that I'm probably rubbing one out right now because I forgot to disable the friends thing.

and a couple of RPGMS (mainly the Sierra Lee ones).
High-five on that Sierra Lee shit, sister. I'm a Mac sucker customer and run a Windows VM just to play TLS, that game is just on a whole 'nuther level.

will the MC have sex with the prof William ? if not then i m not playing
The premise was that lots of sex would happen, not just with William.

However, none of that ever happened, nor will it ever happen in the future. This game has been abandoned for over two years, and the Patreon site and Discord channel are dead. This game is never coming back.

I would advise you (and anyone else that reads this post) to not bother downloading this game. It would be a frustratingly complete waste of time.

RedLolly has Lust Campus listed on Steam, with a release date of Oct 24, 2025.
Probably nothing will happen, or the game will be available on Steam until chapter 3. The chapter where the game died.
Or maybe to have the game on Steam there had to be a set release date, and they put the 24th as they could have chosen any other day.

As I've said before in this thread, it's hard to confirm this for certain, however Lust Campus (for which I'll again point out that the developer's support email is realredlolly@gmail.com, with emphasis on the "real") was released on Steam today, on the same day and at the same time as Food Truck Story, another title heavily suspected of being stolen and put up for sale by a scammer, both of which also released at the exact same price and both without initial promotional discount, as is typical for all other titles suspected or confirmed to be stolen.
Sure, the developer's name is different, and so are the emails, and maybe all of this above doesn't mean anything, but the suspicion remains strong, at least on my part.
