The Mac version is failing on open on all download sites. Is this just a me issue or a bigger problem?

Fun game. I probably enjoyed it more than the original life is strange but then again I just didn't really like the original game that much which is probably the reason I didn't try this one for so long, despite loving Goons Raid Her.
Out of curiosity: There's an achievement to populate the school with three lesbian couples. Taylor and Courtney are the obvious one, I also managed to get that ending for Juliet and Brooke but what would be the third one?
I mean my money would usually be on Max and Chloe for obvious reasons but they only ever interact off screen.
On that note: Is there an ending that doesn't condemn Rachel to her canonical-non-porn-parody-fate?

Romance Max and Kate at the same time.
When they press you to choose one of them, use Rift power to keep both.
Check what happens to them after these events during the ending sequence

This game is a hidden gem in the vast sea of bad unity games, also 10/10 for kate's path.
Following up with this, apologies for the double post, but I've scouted around other download sites and places to play the game and the macOS version seems to be unable to be opened. Has anyone else had this issue or is it just me?
EDIT: The issue is that the file in "lis.app/Contents/MacOS" needs execute privileges (chmod +x), which then let's everything everything run as normal.

The writing is really good. I had a passing knowledge of the characters in the actual game, but what we have here is very solid. The pacing is nice; it sprinkles varied sex scenes at regular intervals but characters progress at a believable pace, even though it sidles close to the silly-porny territory at times.
The characters are on-model and it looks great. The animation is well done.
The "gameplay" is a bit disappointing, honestly. The game isn't much of a game and would work much better as a straight up CYOA VN. Still, it's not as annoyingly time-wasting as some other VNs.
The first playthrough took me about 11 hours and there's still some content I've yet to see, so the replayability is there.
Overall, an easy recommendation.

For those who are still looking for the entire gallery unlocked. You need to create a new text file, copy paste the texts from the spoiler tag, save it as a .reg file, and then run it.

Can anyone check if there isn't any malicious code in there?
I applied without thinking then got a bit paranoid after(dind't realize it was from an user with only 1 post).
It worked though, but who knows...
I can understand why you're paranoid haha, but this code only unlocks the trophies in the game specifically, and doesnt do anything outside the game other than that. The galleries in the game requires the user to achieve specific trophies for gallery unlock, and these codes only changes the values, so they are unlocked. In short:
- Each trophy = a registry value
- Value name = trophy ID
- Value data = date/time unlocked
- Empty hex: values = locked trophies
So when the game sees that the trophies exists, it automatically unlocks the gallery.

For future information, if someone needs it, on Linux the save files are under ~/.config/unity3d/TheArchitect/Lust is Stranger/saves/
