Looks like it just released a few hours ago on itch. Looks like theres some okay stuff in there. Bug fixes are big, and some of the tweaks look good too.The dev has released a new version of the game with many fixes to the issues that players have expressed.
Jeez exhaustion is even worse than I thought it would be. Initially I thought it would just add a negative face to your rolls but it also reduces your damage to about 1/3. There's no real way to beat multiple enemies in this state at the start.
My biggest beef with this game is that even tho the enemies all seem to be women all the sexual content seems to be with guys. Can someone please tell me if this game has any good lesbian content the further you go because if not there is no reason for me to even spend my time with learning this game.
What i think annoys me is its *intended* for you to use the dice rando thing as a proper slot machine (trying to make it stop on what you want)I dont know exactly how to put how much i think this mechanic is stupid if thats the case.
Imo you should just ignore the mechanic entirely, and treat it like its a peek in the backend that gives you an idea on how to mod your dice to give you a better chance to roll what you want, rather than trying to just 'PULL THE LEVER' at the right time. I do not have the damn time to sit there every single damn attack just to ensure a good roll when the game is literally designed to bypass it with dice modifications. Terrible design philosophy.
Anyway...
Im actually not sure how this works. Ive gotten blind dice before and still hit. Maybe it stacks a 50% miss chance with each dice (which is why two is a guaranteed miss)Yeah but I'd get one blind dice and still miss the hit. I'm not sure if that is an always thing or what. Yeah figuring out how the game wants to be played is pretty fun. Trying to find new dice faces is another annoying piece of rng. I think focusing on agility may be the best single stat increase to attack more often.
I actually ended up using the Hammer i think for most of the first area. As long as you dont have anything that gives exposes, youre probably good.
You are definitely not meant to get very far in the first day, and i think that day is best spent focusing on doing all you can to get skills. Once you has the first set of skills, things get a bit easier. (having seiging strike and the other one that does fast attacks is really nice, especially if you can set up a weapon to have more sword dice. I had sieging strike one hit enemies with hammer quite a few times.)
Also if i recall correctly, the bulk of my dice mods i found in chests.
Though i still havent been able to get into the library. I dont know how to get in there >:/
