I just finished saving the Roommate from the zombie event but I have to no idea where to find the push knife. I looked everywhere in the city but no new location got unlocked. Sorry if this question was asked before

In my last post I put a plagiarism just to see if anyone noticed. I wasn't stealing someone else's words, it was an homage to the original work for anyone that spotted it. Many models get reused, it's the nature of this genre. The "DEE" model has been used many times and often just has a cameo to pay homage to Mr. Dots. I thought in this case the name DEE-lilah was to acknowledge that the same model was being used. Endless Taboo was tipping his hat to Mr. D. I'm sure Delilah is dead and ET's comments above is just his way of thumbing his nose at all of us that did not like his current plot line. But what bothers me most about what happened is that by forcing MC to choose which LI to save, ET made the conscious choice to steal from another developer. He wasn't tipping his hat to DPC, he was stealing DPC's hat. I am by no means a fan of DPC. I did not like what happened in AL and I am not a fan of his current work. I know that many stories have similar plots and similar elements, but the scenario where MC is asked to choose which life to save between two LI's definitely belongs to DPC.Oh dear, I just saw the poll results. Everyone will hate me
You know what? I must’ve forgotten to mention another secret healing properties of your semen. Not only can your penis heal the zombie virus, it can also facilitate neuroregeneration. Delilah just needs a few days of rest, an eyepatch, and she’ll be back in action in no time
So you're okay that he stole a plot device from another developer? I mean the EXACT same plot device. EXACTLY like in Acting Lessons, that's great work? Maybe in the next episode MC can go live on a yacht and have to spank the zombies to keep them in line.ENDLESSTABOO you have not answer me i asked you if you introduce footjob from roomate and possibility to fuck her feet in the night... and second a like from you i m honored good work and follow your mind that is full of fantastic ideas i voted for "
Yes - That strategy worked well in other games like Acting Lessons - so - ya she's done for. " because i thrust you will do a great work
No, we cant. There are countless VNs out there, take your pick. Their overabundance means that this game is very much needed, for the people that dont just want another freakin' VN.Can we all just appreciate how much better this game would be as just a straight vn without the open world crap?
So the MC can literally raise the dead with his semen?Oh dear, I just saw the poll results. Everyone will hate me

I'm sorry, but thats just completely absurd. In my last post I put a plagiarism just to see if anyone noticed. As I said in an earlier post, I was going to support this story. Since ET decided to rip off DPC, I donated to two other stories instead. If you currently support ET or are considering supporting him, I think you need to ask yourself if you really want to give money to some one who so blatantly stole material from another developer. Maybe he should change his name to "DrPinkCakesWannabe."
Not Mr. Dots, DrPinkCakes. DrPinkCakes did it in Acting Lessons. He is famous for it. The poll above mentions it, as do many of the posts. If anyone even hints at the scenario without mentioning the title of the game (and I have), everyone assumes you are talking about Acting Lessons. DarkSilver owns "Eric", TheGary owns spanking on a luxury liner, and DPC owns this. Yes, there are plot lines and story lines and models that are used over and over again. I specifically said this in my post. But there are just a few specific elements that have become synonymous with a specific developer. This plot device is one of them.I'm sorry, but thats just completely absurd.
Let me get this straight: MrDots is the person who came up with the idea of "Bad guy captures good guys including Main Character, and while the MC watches, bad guy makes the MC choose which one of their 2 friends/loved ones/allies will be executed by the bad guy in front of his eyes??"
MrDots came up with it and owns this idea??
By that argument, Wolfenstein The New Order, as well as Call of Duty (dont remember which one exactly), as well as other video games, and movies and stories, have used this exact same trope, and it has happened many times in many different stories that people come up with and write.
MrDots doesnt own that, they cant.
Even if MrDots was the original creator of the trope, then I guess they'd have to sue a whole bunch of developers and companies, for ripping off their amazing idea.
Yes, I know, its not all the same. These 2 games you're comparing to are in the same genre, and Delilah is basically this Dee character that has been used over and over again.
But it doesnt matter, because this is just a trope.
You cant steal these general ideas/concepts, because no one really owns them.
We cant say the same for specific distinct assets and media, where they CAN literally be ripped off, and thats against someone's intellectual property rights, but general tropes and ideas? Nah.
From the dawn of time, lots of stories, novels, movies, games, etc, have been "stealing" from each other, because there is a limited number of original ideas that we humans can come up with.
And finally, when it comes to these types of games, you know, the porn/sexual kind, they all basically contain the same things: BJ's, Footjobs, Boobjobs, Vaginal Sex, etc etc.
Originality is hard to find in general, but when it comes to porn and sexual themed content, there is almost no originality left anymore.
Just visit pornhub, and see how its one "Brother has sex with (step)sister while parents sleep!" porn vid after another.
They're all basically the same, just different acting and lines, with different actors and actresses.
No one owns this stuff, its just creators borrowing from one another constantly, and this will never end, because originality is extremely hard to find.
It doesnt make any difference mate. MrDots, Mr Pink Dots, even if their alias was MrElvisP, the arguments and their merits would be the same here. Not Mr. Dots, DrPinkCakes. DrPinkCakes did it in Acting Lessons.
Who first came up with an idea of one of these story elements, vs who first came up with one of these story elements....hmm.If I were to ask the people who play these games who first came up with idea of one of these story elements, I would get a lot of I don't knows and a lot of different answers. If I were to ask who first came up with this story element, I think most of the responses would be DPC.
I am not pointing this out to you, I was agreeing with you. Repeating what you said about Dee was simply validating your comment. It was a lengthy "Yes I get it, and you have a point there".I'm not sure why you are pointing out to me that Delilah is Dee. I specifically said that in my post as well. I said that was probably why she was named "Dee"lilah.
I didnt think it was a sarcastic response, but maybe I am wrong.I would also say that ET's sarcastic response to the negative feedback that some posters left, shows his contempt for his audience.
I would say the opposite. You get this day/night circle, you can go where you want (but you can't go outside house during night for lore reason) and get a different reaction from the girls. This is brilliant and should be improved, they could even introduce a more precise clock like Last Hope, also more activity with "unlocked" girls (for example select place, outfit etc etc like Delilah but with even more options). Also if you unlocked more girls at once you should make them some stripclub contest to win you as a prize! Can we all just appreciate how much better this game would be as just a straight vn without the open world crap?
Guys anyone reading this plz reply. And well got another problem..cant seem to enter the library.Guys i need help with two things..well 3 actually. Poker...how to win it AND I cant find the condom under the sink AND saves changed by save editor doesnt change anything....ANY SOLUTIONS.?Plz i need help.
Last hope is very well made and dev focussed on making the game playable first it also isn't pre-rendered meaning exploration isn't 300 empty screens your objective in last hope is clear without a walkthrough what is needed to progress is clear and a million other QOL features it has make it vastly superior.Sorry to repeat myself....but anything about the bank guard with machete?

the zombie outside the library has a invisible key on her a couple of pixels in sizeGuys anyone reading this plz reply. And well got another problem..cant seem to enter the library.
I think that with the exception of real time it can still be implemented here: every time you move some time pass and each character has a schedule.Last hope is very well made and dev focussed on making the game playable first it also isn't pre-rendered meaning exploration isn't 300 empty screens your objective in last hope is clear without a walkthrough what is needed to progress is clear and a million other QOL features it has make it vastly superior.
Sorry if my phrasing was confusing. There are story elements that have become generic; for example guy goes back home to live with Mom and sister(s) and Dad is out of the picture. This particular plot device (asking MC to choose between the lives of two loved interests) was first used in this genre by DrPinkCakes and is strictly associated with him. Look at all the posts here referring to Acting Lessons. It doesnt make any difference mate. MrDots, Mr Pink Dots, even if their alias was MrElvisP, the arguments and their merits would be the same here.
Who first came up with an idea of one of these story elements, vs who first came up with one of these story elements....hmm.
Those are basically the same thing.
I cannot see a distinction here, even your phrasing is pretty similar.
Are you saying that DrPinkCakes owns this specific brand of this trope?
And as a follow-up question, if DPC somehow does own it, how the hell would they enforce that and take action against their people that supposedly steal their intellectual property?
Here's the thing: If you want to say that colloquially and among the playerbase, EndlessTaboo is guilty of plagiarism, then fine, I guess people can have whatever opinions they like, but legally and objectively, none of what you said here holds any particular weight. I hope you understand the distinction I am making.
Also, allow me to add that I genuinely mean no offense.
You are entitled to your opinion, and by all means stand by it.
And ofc voting with your dollars is probably the best thing any consumer can do, as a means of participating in an open market.
I am not pointing this out to you, I was agreeing with you. Repeating what you said about Dee was simply validating your comment. It was a lengthy "Yes I get it, and you have a point there".
I thought it was clear, but maybe not.
I didnt think it was a sarcastic response, but maybe I am wrong.
Who the hell can really say for certain when reading text? Its not like we can hear ET's tone of voice or something.
Its possible that you or I (or both of us I guess) are interpreting these things based on our own subjective and presumptuous mentality, thus you see it as an overly sarcastic response indicative of contempt, while I do not.
Whatever the case may be, these games basically live and die by the support and opinions of the consumers, and that is PAYING customers (although the freeloaders help spread the word a bit, so they're not completely irrelevant), so I would say that since you keep talking about games that you do or dont support (i.e. you're not a freeloader), your opinions on those games matters more than mine.
In other words, if EndlessTaboo wants their game to succeed, they probably should try to keep Patrons and potential Patrons happy, thus it would be a good idea to clear the waters on some of the perception of their comments online.
And finally, based on your reaction as well as other people's reactions, I think its fair to say that sometimes its better for creators to just stay silent, than to be overly communicative and engage with the community, because some people are just going to interpret your comments the wrong way, and thats just bad PR.
Personally, I'm not gonna fall into the trap of assuming the worst of any creator, and will just try to be fair.
Make of that what you will.
