Wow, so many new posts! It’s always stressful when I release an update, worrying that I might have added a bug that blocks everyone. (For those who don’t know me, I’m the dev of the game.)
I’ve never understood this option in visual novels, even though it’s in almost all of them. You’re the first to ask, so I think I can add it without any problem (but I still don’t know what it’s for!).
Yes, T.T That’s my main focus right now, and it should be out soon (but when I’m answering questions, I’m not working on it!).
Yes, so apparently, it’s impossible to give VG to Ninie. I’ll fix that fast since it’s pretty blocking. And no, I don’t check my entire game with every update xD (especially since Ninie’s storyline has been stable for a year until now).
That’s a new one... I’d need more details if possible. (Is this your first time launching the game? Did you get past the intro? Does it happen every time you load? Etc.)
That’s one way to work around the issue xD The variables that affect character storylines are all called "scenage_charactername," so if you’re stuck, this might save you from waiting for a fix. But be careful—I’m not responsible if you mess up your save with this !!
It’s coming, it’s coming, T.T I’d really like to avoid compiling the Android version with Ninie’s bug if possible.
Like Lancekro said, this has nothing to do with the renders/videos coming from Koikatsu—after all, they’re just videos and images (technically doable with anything, even Skyrim, why not). I’ve heard that Ren’Py is great for small projects, but when things get heavier, issues start to appear (My game currently has 5000+ images and 2000+ video animations (1 to 3-second video loops), so it’s starting to get pretty heavy. And spoiler alert, I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!)
For me, as was mentioned, I want to keep improving my games and offering new things that
could probably be done in Ren’Py, but not as well (and not as easily! Seriously, Unreal Engine is really great to work with).
So, I’m progressing both in game development and mastering Charastudio (the software for making Koikatsu scenes/images). The first animated scenes were very basic, but I’m improving. Well, I think so. There’s definitely room for growth, for sure.
I managed to make a video of Karen undressing and Leslie swallowing. I think it turned out pretty good!
As for the questioning, for now, I’m still motivated about my project. And considering the troubles I’ve had with it for the past year, I’d say it really takes motivation !
Going back to fix the bugs and finish the Android version.
