It's 100% AI, the pupils are messed up and the expressions he pulls look overly human as the body was probably used as a prompt for a real man

This is bound to happen when The dev focus on Maximising Profit rather than Creating a Good game.
What's cheaper and less efforts than Generative AI ? (Ain't they already start to use AI writing?)
The Same with the new MCs, it's poorly sought out cuz they are just chasing a trend: How many games with this type of MCs are good? Most of them are garbage or "passable" at most, yet many are still chasing it cuz they don't really care how it plays.

Edit: For anyone who try to cope "It's not AI", if you see enough AI art you know this is exact a generic AI-art face.
If it's a "New Artist" he wouldn't draw this "good", if it's an artist who can draw this "good" he would have his own art-style, not this Bullshit generic AI style.
Even if the dev claim "They are not using AI", they are lying, like the dev from HunkCity (Shocker, they also hv the same faces
). Unless they show proof, like a drawing session.

If that's supposed to be "AI Slop", I'd gladly take slop over the awful art style we've had up to this point. Every character and their penises have looked weird as hell.
Shocked it didn't happen sooner given how bad the initial art is, and they already sold out to their patrons always voting for basic bitch-ass humans. You know, a SPACE game about fucking ALIENS AND MONSTERS and like 90%+ of scenes nowadays is... human on human...

Tho it can just be a reminder how badly this game has fallen.
The biggest part of Being a human artist is their art will only improve, getting better.
I don't even think their Original Artist is bad at all, given how well designed all those sexy aliens are.
But by using AI art idicates they don't even try anymore, it's only manufacturing and stagnation.
Sure you can say you like the AI art style. Tell me that after you play 10 AI art games.
What's so bad about Hunk City and it's AI art? Outside of the grindy boring gameplay, the world and characters are boring, nothing exiting ever happens, it's always those same AI faces.
Sure if you are a very small project that lack resources, AI art can give you the jump-start.
But a Project that hs more than $10k per month like LO? The only word to describe is Greed.
