Nicole's my favourite character, so I'm also looking forward to new chapters in her story.Hope the teacher is up next for content. I feel like she pops up everywhere which makes me miss her story more than anybody else's.
I agree with your theory, and am saddened. For me, the domestic rape fantasies with no lasting consequences was THE point of the game, and everything else was just chores and fluff.which is why I think the devs have decided to steer clear of rape fantasies for this game. Might be completely wrong about that, but we'll see.
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

But even knowing that the timeline advanced, he committed suicide in the game once, and has done things with the seeming assumption that the timeline will keep on looping.Nicole's my favourite character, so I'm also looking forward to new chapters in her story.
I know a lot of people want to see the MC go 'full darkside' by taking advantage of his situation without fear of the consequences, but I don't think that's going to happen. He knows that time has already moved on once (at least) and the prospect of waking up one morning in a jail cell with his ass being pounded by fellow prisoners probably terrifies him - especially when he could be stuck in that day for months!
He's cowardly and will take advantage of women when they're passed out or drunk, but whenever he's tried to force an unwilling woman to comply (like trying to blackmail Nicole), he's suffered swift and painful retribution. This fits in with the light hearted tone of the game, which has plenty of hilarious situations to break up the tedium of repetition (and cockblocking...), which is why I think the devs have decided to steer clear of rape fantasies for this game. Might be completely wrong about that, but we'll see.
Agreed. Much like the endless arguments about defining NTR, there's several things in this game that are arguably rape, but the line seems to have been drawn before violent rape. The only characters that have suffered from significant physical violence are the MC (at Nicole's hands) and Amy's stalker/cockblocker Tom - who deserved much more. I can't recall any equivalent violence against female characters, but I haven't played every possible path, either. It's the devs choosing, for whatever reason, to not go beyond a "lesser" level of rape. And of course that is their choice to make.
True, but the moral decisions taken by characters inside these games frequently defy our comprehension. It just kind of defies belief at this point that he wouldn't take an even darker path some time.
The strange thing is that violence in time loop stories is kind of common. Not sexual violence, but people getting hurt or even killed by the protagonist precisely because there are no consequences. Thinking back a ways to the Xena:Warrior Princess tv show, I still remember the scene where Xena is stuck in a time loop and hilariously just kills Joxur for some peace and quiet, and because she knew that it wasn't permanent. So you wouldn't think it would be that odd for sexual violence to occur in a sex game. Granted, the term "sexual violence" is a broad one, and many would say it already occurs in the game. And I don't want a truly violent sexual scene either, in the sense of physical damage. But if Ellie had not been able to stop the MC from having sex with her, or the MC had chosen to force his younger sister to have sex with him, while sexual violence and obviously rape, wouldn't need to be violent scenes on an absolute level. I realize making that distinction is probably pretty odd, although so too is the Devs drawing the line where they have so far. I kind of get the feeling they don't consider anything that happened to be actually be rape, while I don't kid myself about it or that I want things to be taken a little bit further. But not that far. But I'm sure there are people that would, so really I guess it comes down to a matter of taste and perversion where you say that a line has been crossed.Agreed. They so often do. Its frustrating to not be given the choices you want in a game, or to be given the illusion of choice but then have it be an empty promise. So often it's done so the developers don't have to worry about tracking different variables or writing and programming diverging story lines, or the actions would result in a game over for the story because of their severity. But a time loop story is the perfect vehicle for giving players more options, and then having them be meaningless for the outcome of the story. No one would remember what the MC did other than the MC, and they are shown to not really be the type to dwell on it too much.True, but the moral decisions taken by characters inside these games frequently defy our comprehension.
If we consider the consequences beyond the time loop, the MC's memories will influence his future actions, even when nobody else can remember them. This might also apply to some of the players controlling him, who have issues separating reality and fantasy. But a time loop story is the perfect vehicle for giving players more options, and then having them be meaningless for the outcome of the story. Nothing really seems to influence the MC though. They haven't really changed. They're still fairly stupid and also just kind of an asshole in general. I'd personally like to see some kind of personal growth in them, but failing that I'd settle for decay. Especially if perhaps it led to a turnaround at some point. Bill Murray in Groundhog Day abused his power for the longest time. He didn't rape anyone (presumably) although he did basically trick that one woman into having sex with him. He tried the same thing on his main love interest, but it never worked and he never escaped the loop until there was that turnaround. If we consider the consequences beyond the time loop, the MC's memories will influence his future actions, even when nobody else can remember them. This might also apply to some of the players controlling him, who have issues separating reality and fantasy.
A game like that could get very dark, very fast. What happens after the MC has raped every woman in town hundreds of times and needs something more extreme to excite him? Torturing Tom to death in thousands of different ways might be satisfying for the first few days, but the longer you did it, the more extreme and graphic you'd have to become to maintain that level of satisfaction - with predictable effects on your own mental stability. If the time loop ended, the MC would have to be incarcerated or killed for the safety of the public, as he'd be beyond redemption by that point.
Slapstick violence for comedic purposes is part of human nature, as well as pushing the limits of propriety because 'its only a game'. Go too far past those limits and you can open the door to some real horrors in human behaviour, which might be one reason why Inceton appear to have set theirs. If we end up killing Tom or his equivalent in future chapters, I'm sure they'll find a way to make it funny, without dwelling on the negative possibilities. Joxer was an irritating character most of the time, but he had his good points. Tom doesn't.
Agree that no game will ever satisfy everybody with the choices available for MC's, but these same strictures can inspire personalised fantasies from each player, letting them rewrite the basic structure of the plot to suit their own fetishes. If the game provides a decent foundation, well thought out characters and leaves lots of possibilities open, we all win.
It is frustrating to see this behaviour, because he's been in the loop for a long time and is still only looking for short term gratification. Its like watching a rat in a maze, running around trying to find the cheese. I felt the same way after almost completing every quest, but was still unable to progress until desperate Googling showed me the exact sequence of choices required to continue. The funny moments in this game are great, but the hellish repetition and need for better guidance really hurt at times.Nothing really seems to influence the MC though. They haven't really changed. We're all perverts here, so we shouldn't be judging each other.I'm fully conscious of how messed up some of this sounds, and probably how messed up I sound for arguing in favor of this. I personally couldn't do this in real life, but then again I couldn't some of the other stuff the MC has done. But I'm not the MC, and this is not real life.
There are indeed a lot of funny moments in this game. There's a lot of frustrating ones in it to. That's about on par with most other games I guess. To be clear, a lot of what I say can be applied to other games, although this game lends itself to "let's go the rape route a little more than some others due to the time loop storyline. It is frustrating to see this behaviour, because he's been in the loop for a long time and is still only looking for short term gratification. I've seen rape scenes re-used as sex scenes, although it isn't easy. I think they'd more likely have to just do a special rape scene. Again, I'm not talking about the MC going around raping everyone. These scenes would be continuations of other scenes where things seemed to be leading up to sex before the woman shot the MC down. There wouldn't be a non-rape version, because that particular scene wasn't meant to have a non-rape sex scene to it. I realize this would be more work for the devs, but I think it would be worth it. We're not talking about too many of this scenes. They spent an awful lot of time on that threesome with the MC, Megan, and Zoe that never resulted in any sex. It was good, but ultimately a tease. They could afford to take time away from stuff like that and give us a special scene like what I'm describing now and then. Maybe if you work the expressions right, or the angles, some or all of the scenes could be reused in the future. But many games today are riddled with scenes that many players will never see because they opted out of certain fetishes. NTR ones are the ones that come to mind, but there are also games with other optional fetishes. In general I think that's a bad idea, but I suspect you'd have most people checking out the optional scenes I'm describing at some point. We're all perverts here, so we shouldn't be judging each other.
Options are great, because players that aren't into a particular kink can easily skip them, but they can mean a lot to players that are. I'm not sure how they'd introduce them for this scenario though, because the sex animations assume a willing partner, rather than one who's either fighting back or passively resisting. Aiming for simultaneous orgasms would no longer be an option and partners that are crying or screaming for help would rapidly attract unwelcome attention. Sex stories in this genre often rely on the magical power of the rapist's big dick, which sees the victim overwhelmed by pleasure and unable to resist its all conquering stimulation! Not even remotely realistic, but that's porn fiction for you.
I'd be more interested in seeing if the MC's personality changed as a result, assuming he felt guilt for his actions later and tried to make up for them, even if the victims had no memory of it. That might lead to the turnaround you mentioned, where he could either grow up Bill Murray style, or descend into darkness and a possible 'bad end'. That's just two possibilities, but I'm sure the devs can think of many more.
Except that they couldn't, and that's because of the business side of things. Inceton's main goal is to get EoL Season 2 to Steam after it's done and Steam won't accept any rape scenes or stuff like that. That's why EoL Season 1 didn't pass for Steam release, because there was too rapey scenes in it with main character basically raping Elizabeth multiple times in the living room while she was sleeping. They had to make changes to the Steam version of Summer with Mia too so they got it accepted there. Why would they make rape scenes just for Patreon version, and then have to redo those parts of the game later on so they can get it accepted to Steam when they can just make it right on the first try and save time, effort and money. So there is no raping and there won't be any raping in the future for Season 2.I think either extreme could be fun to experience in the story, and given the time loop, both could easily be possible.
There are already rape or at the very least rapey scenes in season 2. At least a lot of people would see them as such and Steam would too. The second season as it stands right now would never appear on Steam barring a lot of editing.Except that they couldn't, and that's because of the business side of things. You mean is the MC an 18 year old boy with raging hormones? Yep, it is literally the next day for him from Season 1.Haven't played since the first episode of the second season. Does the MC continue to commit idiotic actions?
I used the cheatmod to unlock the rest of the events, so I can only tell you the ones you're missing. You need:-Guys, I need a little help here. I couldn't get all the scene for S1 and S2.
