Getting the same issue, the game won't progress past the headphone volume warning after naming chars/setting relations.
Anyone why i stuck on text "friendly warning. If u using headphone, lower the volume"

I believe the download link you are using is the prior version of the game to the hotfix. Best to wait for the next release which should be soon from what I've read in these posts,

I do not know anything about rendering. How long it will take to render all 7390 frames. I understand that you do not want to give us a specific date if something goes wrong. But it will take 2 or 10 days? It will by released by end of weekend?

It's coming out next week one way or another
Long time since last played this game(I think it was january) and so I was thinking to start a new game, but I can't get past that "Friendly warning, lower volume" notification. Am I missing now something? I can load my old save, but can't remember that much what has happened earlier.

This right here is why I could never make one of these games. The level of equipment at work here is just insane and even if I got a kick-ass top of the range gaming laptop (since I have no room for a desktop PC), I'd still probably never be able to produce something that's even 1/10th as good as this game.
Sucks because I've honestly got around 10+ concepts rattling around my head for different stories that nobody's ever done before. Ah well, maybe I'll just write them as stories and sell them.
