Anyone else having their relationship changed to ''none'' when Megan talks with Taylor outside the house in the latest update? I swear to God, relationships in this game brake like with every new update lately
Yeah. That's an issue with the "persistent" file that was packed with the game.Anyone else having their relationship changed to ''none'' when Megan talks with Taylor outside the house in the latest update? I swear to God, relationships in this game brake like with every new update lately
well that sucks, i don't have the previous save on hand sadly so i guess i will just deal with it for now until and if i decide to play the season all over againYeah. That's an issue with the "persistent" file that was packed with the game.
You should have deleted "game/saves/persistent" before running the executable.
If you didn't - like i didn't - that persistent overwrote your previous persistent in %APPDATA%.
The only hope is to use your "game/saves/persistent" from your previous release folder, if you kept it.
Otherwise you have to start a new game to re-enter the relationships, or to assign the relevant variables via Console.
Gonna publish a little script to do it automatically, sooner or later. I don't have a computer at hand right now.

Here. Add this to the game folder - enables consoleAm I the only one not being able to access console?
Still can't open console. I can open the developer screen, but when I try to open console nothing happens. It just returns me to the game.Here. Add this to the game folder - enables console
Yeah. The usual trick doesn't work with this game. You have to edit the original file where it says developer=False and settin it to true.Still can't open console. I can open the developer screen, but when I try to open console nothing happens. It just returns me to the game.
The display technologxy does not imply grinding, it could all be event based. But it's a complete redesign for sure, you can't bring the story 1:1 to a completely different gameplay environment. Immagine having to walk to school every morningThe Unreal Engine is meant for games in which moving around, fighting enemies, etc. is the point of the game.
Transposing an AVN from Ren'Py (its natural environment) to Unreal makes no sense because moving the character in a 3D environment just to move from a scene to another and interact with other characters is just boring grinding that could have been done with a couple of clicks.

It will takes ages anyway until they get something presentable. So far it's nothing but a tech demo with some hidden events, the house looks awefully empty.
Yeah, I remember that version, I think I still have it, I kept all GOG installers.I managed to play an early release and there was to walk from home to the woods just to find Ellie to be fucked.
