It has to be said that the game and its content are going downhill these days. The updates seem to be getting worse and worse. Really? It's already version 0.7 and there's so little really good content. Say what you will, but Season 1 and part of Season 2 weren't really "good" and had only half-decent content. Now it's all about keeping the story flowing and, above all, making money.
I'm sorry you feel this way, and I'd invite you to be specific on where you feel the game and narrative is letting you down, what you feel is missing. I have never made any disguise of the fact that I am interested in expanding the story and depth of Lust Theory, so I can't deny I am keeping the story going and am intentionally not rushing each girls' path.
Though I can only truly speak for myself as the writer for majority of this season, (though I do feel this applies to everyone involved in the project) I would like to, respectfully, take issue with the notion that keeping Lust Theory going is motivated only by money.
I have poured a lot of effort into the story, in trying to explore the protagonist's world and relationships from new angles, and introduce different stakes since taking over the reins of the story and its direction. I have put my all into trying to ensure each LI is given their due time in the sun and have done my uttermost to make every girl's time in the spot light feel unique, and build upon LT 1-2 in new ways.
As said, I can fully appreciate that maybe this hasn't landed for you and sometimes effort doesn't necessarily mean success, but, while I am always willing to accept critique where it is due, I will always defend my commitment to the project and the world of Lust Theory. and Lust Bound. This is not just a gig for me, and I am not writing this story just to pay the bills, and I can tell you I feel the same sentiment from the other writers and staff I work with.
Once again, all of this is said respectfully, and I really do encourage you to let me know what it is about S3 or the update just gone that is disappointing you. I can't necessarily promise to be able to fix everything, but I will ALWAYS listen and read players thoughts. The day of releases, I am always keeping an eye on these forum spaces looking for reactions, looking for critique. Yes, I am also hoping for and looking for praise where it is earned, I am always signing in here with trepidation, hoping everyone loves what I'm writing and the new stories and paths forward made in the game. And when I find that is not the case, yes it stings a little, but I am reading and taking notes, looking to improve. I hope that is enough to prove that this game, and doing it right is more than money to me.
