Hey, you are the ne screenplay + writer guy, right?

I was wondering if you guys have any plan to do another old school Incest type VN like Summer with Mia and Lust theory. Lust theory story had become really dull. The screenplay has improved since last few months but the story has come to such a place that good dialogues alone won't do any good.
Yes, I am the new writer and story designer, (though considering I have been writing Lust Theory for about a year now, I don't know how much longer I can call myself NEW).

It's great to hear you feel the screenplay and story have improved. Thank you so much for that.

As for Inceton's future projects, I can't comment too much on those. I am responsible, currently, for writing Lust Theory S3 and Lust Bound S1. Of course, I hope to do and write more for the company long into the future, but I don't need to know what the company's future story plans are, except where they involve me.

Wow Lust bound too?? It's kinda my possible top VN(along with Summer with Mia) by this studio or dev whatever you prefer.
As I said, Lust Theory has come to a point that not much can be done.
But I certainly wish you do a great job with Lust Bound. All the best. (y)

I was searched "Mac season 2" in this thread and I found many people with th e same problem as me with only with followups. Should I upload my Mac version and provide them with the same here?
I wouldn't, I would just give them instructions on how to properly run the game. Or you can reference them to this post here.

Here's a step by step guide to run the Steam builds on Mac. This method works for both Season 1 and 2. And will very likely work for Season 3 when it comes to steam. It also works on any other renpy game.

1. Download and Unzip file. If your default "Archive Utility" application doesn't work, I find that "The Unarchiver" works well as an alternative.

2. In the newly unzipped "Lust Theory" or "Lust Theory Season 2" folder, highlight the following files and put them in a new folder labeled "autorun"
- game
- renpy
- LustTheoryS1.py or LustTheory2.py
- LustTheoryS1.sh or LustTheory2.sh

3. Highlight the newly made folder "autorun" as well as the folder "lib" and copy both of them.

4. Right click (or two finger press if you're using a trackpad) on the application "LustTheoryS1" or "LustTheory2" and select "Show Package Contents" then open the "Contents" folder and then lastly the " Resources" folder.

5. Paste the aforementioned "autorun" and "lib" folder and if prompted, select "Merge". If "Merge" isn't available, then select "Replace"

6. Return to the "Lust Theory" or "Lust Theory Season 2" folder where "LustTheoryS1" or "LustTheory2" application is stored and double click to run the application. If for some reason, you're not allowed to open said application then I've attached a file below to circumvent that roadblock. You simply need to unzip the file and then double click that script and a terminal window will pop up. Drag the aforementioned " Lust Theory" or "LustTheory2" application in the window and hit "return" or "enter" if you're using a different keyboard. Once the script is finished running, you should be able to open the application now.

7. Once the game is running smoothly, you can now rename and move the application "Lust Theory" "LustTheory2" to whatever and wherever you like. There's no need to keep the other files.

Hope this helps!! Feel free to message me if you're running into any issues or if I need to clarify anything for you. Also I made the proper labels for each build, but make sure you only combine the files in the proper build. All season 1 files in season 1 and season 2 file in season 2.

This is a complete guide to solve and play steam games on a Mac.
It is just a permission issue and/or quarantine by Gatekeepr. Any "market" build will not run on Mac/Linux unless it is made on Mac or made with the SDK, or downloaded on the machine it was acquired from, if you downloaded from Steam it would already have the permissions set up.

It would be the same as me zipping the Mac or Linux version on Windows, doing that breaks permissions.

Since there is some conflicting information here I investigated this some more.

Turns out that the root cause of Market builds not working on a Mac is because of the Quarantine imposed by Gatekeeper on files downloaded from anonymous sources such as Mega etc. This will almost always happen to games downloaded using the links posted here and is not limited to Ren'Py games only. RPGM and Unity games can also be affected by this.
This probably also explains why the game does work for somebody on the developer's team.

When you shuffle the components around as described in my method linked by Bob69, you are effectively creating a new app for yourself, hence Gatekeeper does not intervene.

As an alternative, you can remove the quarantine from the Market build with the xattr command in Terminal. Personally I prefer my method because that method creates a self contained Mac app and leaves less clutter.
Two common problems that may arise when playing on Mac are these:
  • the app is quarantined by Gatekeeper because its from an unknown developer;
  • the executable inside the app might have lost its execute permission during unzipping
To check quarantine, start Terminal and type "xattr " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the problematic app into the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Mind there is a space between the command and said path. Hit enter. If you see com.apple.quarantine in the results, the app is quarantined.
To remove the quarantine, type "xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine " and drag the app again into the window. Hit enter. Quarantine should now be removed.

To check the second case, you need to look into the contents of the app: right click on the TFTUV app, pick Show package contents. Navigate to /Contents/MacOS/. Inside that folder you'll see a file called TFTUV. That file should be a Unix executable. If it's anything else, it has lost its execute permission.
To fix this, start Terminal and type "chmod a+x " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the file inside the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Again mind there is a space between the command and the path. Hit enter. The file should now be executable.

As a general precaution, make a duplicate of the app first before changing its attributes or permissions.

Another general hint for troubleshooting: instead of opening the app, try opening the executable inside the app. It then should start by opening Terminal. If something is wrong, there might be more information in the Terminal window.
And you can ALWAYS build you own Mac version in a minute or two, it is what I do for every Mac compressed version.
