Inceton clearly do not care about Lust Theory anymore, every update for Season 3 has been shitty except for the first. It's clear they are milking it as it's their most popular release but even then it's pathetic how little content and worse the writing has gotten (yes I know it's a porn game but it's bad by those standard as well).
Even the latest season or episode of the Mia games was nonsensical. Only one that is remotely interesting is Lust Bound and the updates are minuscule as well. It's clear they're just going through the motions to focus on their weird obsession with their NTR games and that shitty Unreal Engine Lust theory game that no one asked for.

The Unreal Engine is meant for games in which moving around, fighting enemies, etc. is the point of the game.
Transposing an AVN from Ren'Py (its natural environment) to Unreal makes no sense because moving the character in a 3D environment just to move from a scene to another and interact with other characters is just boring grinding that could have been done with a couple of clicks.

Wow, what shit that this protagonist becomes in part two of the game, I even lost interest in continuing to play...

The display technologxy does not imply grinding, it could all be event based. But it's a complete redesign for sure, you can't bring the story 1:1 to a completely different gameplay environment. Immagine having to walk to school every morning

I managed to play an early release and there was to walk from home to the woods just to find Ellie to be fucked.
You had to walk the town in the right direction to find the woods, then wander in the woods until you find Ellie.
Meanwhile, nothing happened. Just plain boring.
Exploring the environment while walking makes sense for games in which you have to fight with enemies on your path.
Otherwise walking 3 minutes in a 3D environment just to find a character is just boring (and personally it gives me motion sickness with all that motion of the virtual camera).

Besides I had to decrease the quality a lot to be able to play on a $1000 laptop, because Unreal Engine hardware requirements are quite demanding.
I guess that to play full quality one has to buy either a $1500/$2000 desktop or a $4000 laptop.
This kind of expense can be expected by gamers wanting to play something like Doom, Tomb Raider, Assassins's Creed, GTA, or any game in whick 3D makes actually sense (because it's the point of the game), not by those just looking for an AVN.

Yeah, I remember that version, I think I still have it, I kept all GOG installers.
And I fully agree. While it's easy to build a lot of houses and maybe some gardens, filing the whole thing with content is a whole different matter.
Just copy / paste the old story? Not gonna happen. ULT will be completely different. Maybe it will have similar character stories, but the progress has to be significantly different.
Okay, so Inceton have finally updated their website after Thot on Trial v0.3.1's release. Lust Theory is next.
Apparently we're getting v0.6.0 of Lust Theory 3.
The last update was v0.5.2.
This next update had better have eight small updates worth of content in it. Need I remind everyone that 5 of the 9 girls' stories haven't even started yet? And apparently we're finishing Episode 6 with the next update, going by Inceton's other games, that means we have 4 Episodes remaining right?

no we are startiing episode 6 with next update . 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2 is = episode 5 .
assuming there are 10 episodes we are technically at the half point but inceton does not make all episodes equally . in LT 2 episode 9 for example is bigger than all previous update and bigger than all of season 1 in terms of renders .
That’s true.
I could be wrong about episodes and stuff but I would believe that 0.5.0 is the end of Episode 5, especially considering that Resort of Temptation is sitting at 0.0.7 right now. As I said, I could be wrong though.
Just seemed odd to jump from 0.5.2 to 0.6.0.

I stopped playing this once it went all other reality probably like a year ago and got into clone fest fucking. Did he get all rapey or something on top of that?

No, he's still being manipulative, but more sensitive to others problems than ever. After S2 he really seems to try to be a half decent guy.
The only rapey scene was in S1 in an old version, but it was rewritten at some point.
(edit: well, maybe the Nicole event with Jessica in the room would count as such)
