I popped open the hood and took a peek at the code. It looks like it still phones home and downloads ads. If you don't want to download ads or for Inceton to potentially log your IP, my Universal Crack blocks that. I should probably update its description to indicate that it does that, lol.

Regarding the bonus code problem, they screwed it up. It's not intentional. TL;DR:

• The code is apology
• This code MUST be entered in the Bonus Content screen (accessible from the main menu or right click when in game)
  • Anything you enter in the screen during the intro for a new game WILL NOT WORK! Even if you use the correct code it is looking for behind the scenes (jealousy from back during S3E5)

Yeah, they added that with all their games with the latest update (can't remember which game of theirs) but even the ones on Steam have the updated menu and download things to it. If you use any firewall, it should alert you and can block it.

I don't support Android....only thing I know it works on is Windows/Linux/Mac.

For anyone like me who wants sounds but hates that stupid moan noise every time you click on a button, I created a small mod to silence it. Or change it, your call.

• To silence it, use: mute-ui-moans.zip
• To change it to an actual clicking noise, use: change-ui-moans-to-click.zip

Unzip the files and drop the resulting mods folder into your /game folder. To uninstall, delete /game/mods/smasher_the_smith/mute-ui-moans or /game/mods/smasher_the_smith/change-ui-moans depending on which version you installed. If that's my only mod you installed you can just delete the entire folder.

Tested on v0.7.1.

If it is saying the file is corrupt, then it is a bad download.

I literally just downloaded it from PIXELDRAIN and it extracts (and starts) fine.

you will need to put in bit more info than that, which version, using mods, ... maybe also post the code

i have tested win version works fine, no crack need or anything, 0.52 mod also works fine, unren also doesn't give any issues. code also works fine. no new collectibles or hidden events in sight and am not sure if am found of new save/load menu

Oops, not sure how I missed that. My bad. Did a search and nothing came up except people asking for one a long time ago. Must have chosen poor terms. However, I see we were both ninja'd! Damned ninjas sneaking around everywhere. That mods appears to not mute but instead lower the volume of each sound recording so it is really quiet. Guess we got options.

You may want to update your mod by the way. It seems that they added a separate moan integration for the main UI items since you posted it. The ones in game don't moan with your mod anymore but all the buttons for the save/load and settings screens do.

I don't understand why they did this in the first place. It has to be a mistake where they copied the wrong code and just haven't fixed it. That sound was originally just for the bonus screens button and it made sense there, even if it was still annoying. Just less annoying given you clicked it a lot less than literally every other UI item. I don't see how they could look at that and say "yeah, that's what players want!"

Congratulations! You are the first winner for Lust Theory to experience the "too many saves" bug. You have managed to exceed 1000 saves. Your prize is a big middle finger from the devs. I'm sure you are thrilled.

If for some reason you wish to exchange your prize, you can try some of the options from my solutions to this same problem over on the Thot on Trial thread.

1. Your first option is to delete or backup some saves until you get under the limit. See this post for details (Method 1)
2. Your second option is to run a script or use a small mod file to expand their persistent save name list size. Details are in the same post linked above for option 1 (this is Method 2). Be sure to read all the warnings included there before proceeding!
3. Your final option is to try out the my beta Inceton Enhanced Load/Save Screen mod. That was built for Thot on Trial, but it looks like they just copied and pasted the load/save screen code into Lust Theory (as expected) so it should work

Both options 1 and 2 result in getting capped at a max of 49 pages of saves (500 saves total) even though the list lets you store up to 1000. Only option 3 fixes that.

I have not tested any of those on Lust Theory, but it appears to be the same code from quickly glancing through it so it should work. If it doesn't, just follow my instructions for uninstalling or reverting the changes. Edit: it is the same code copied and pasted, so they work.

I need to set aside some time to finish the save/load screen mod since it appears they are indeed going to use the buggy version for all their games moving forward. It works as is right now, but it can be slow at times since it is going to the file system for everything. I need to implement a cache.

I must say that this update is beautiful. Fantastic work, Embercat. Feels good to be back with some good writing in an Inceton game (Yes, I don't have high opinions of Thot on Trial).

Also, can't wait for this update to get voice acting. I already think Zoe's voice actress is among the best in the game, but I feel she'd be able to make the ending of this update phenomenal.

No problem. It was a breath of fresh air to have good writing after the mess that was Thot on Trial. I got quite critical of how that game created situations for things to happen near the end there.

But, please don’t rush this game to completion. I know there’s a plan to release by the end of the year, but if you need more time to finish things off please delay if needed. As Miyamoto said: a delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is bad forever.
