One thing I've learned here is that people will subscribe you on patreon if they really like the game. take DPC for example. He has over 11k patrons and his game, extra renders and everything else gets posted here on the very same day of release.

That being said I respect Inceton game's decision to delay the release here in f95. They are the developers and if they want people to wait until atleast 10$ patrons get the game then i don't see any problem. I am getting this game for free so I'll wait for as long as it takes.

I think if the developer give a date of public release there won't be much arguments. People here just assumed they won't get any more updates.
100% agree. This whole thing will be simple if Dev just come and says: "The update will release for free X days after release for patrons", if this is him real intention. But way it is, seems the updates will never shared for free anymore. (Sorry for my bad english)

For shits and giggles I'll add - I did end up becoming a Patron of Inceton after having tried the first couple episodes here...juuuuuust sayinnn.....
And i'm sure at least 70% of his patrons did the same....

but f95 is a pirate site and should be punished for his bad behaviour.

He thinks that banning people from his patreon for sharing will help....it won't

Better quality in his work will help, for example having A LOT of people having a floating bed after 5 seconds of gameplay HURTS A LOT for Inceton because people will think that he's a shitty dev not worthy of pledge.

He should start from this and not from a website that gave him at least 70% of patrons.

All of this IMHO

Yes, every creator has the right to protect his work. Thing is, that protection gets cracked sooner or later. Every time.
Protection is just for pleasing the corp managers so they can vomit their selling points to the shareholders which mostly
have no clue what's going on IRL.

Art gets to be known by sharing it. No one will care about the Magnum Opus if it rots away in the basement next to the laundry.
Every artist wants to let the world know what he/she has created. And here comes the trade off, share a little or share big.
The way patreon treats us NSFW creators, we don't have a choice to share our work and hope for the best in return.
I don't have many patrons myself but 90% of them decided to support me after it got released here. And from there on to other sites as well.
Expanding your reach can help. Remember the TV show Breaking Bad? Some of the production members decided to leak the 1st season because it wasn't clear if the show would get the green light by the bosses. After the show got downloadad and shared by millions of people, the production staff managed to convince the bosses to continue production.
There has never been a show, a movie studio, a musician or any artist in the world that went bankrupt because of piracy.
Remember the movie industry how they screamed like the apocalypse would come down on them when movies cost 80-100 million? A few years later, movies got 200-300 million budget and still rake in double and triple revenue.
Anyway, just my 2 cents.

And I'm sure that your statement is incorrect. It's nowhere near 70% based on our polls and other analytics it's bellow 5% (Well bellow...)

Again incorrect statement we never banned anyone from our Patreon.
(No wait we did ban one person that was harassing all other Patrons and spewing racist slurs. After warning him 3 times we decided to ban him. But we never banned anyone for sharing links.)

Please don't spread misinformation.

Long story short.
We appreciate this community for the bug reports, feedback, ideas for the game etc... in return you get the game here for free and f95 makes money from this. WIN, WIN, WIN. The problem is that the game is released here too soon. We cant make a return of investment, cant pay the salaries, cant develop bigger and better updates. You get the game here before our 10$ Patrons and that's a problem for us or better said our Patrons. It's just not fair and for this reason we decided to protect our work. We will try to figure something out with the f95 admins if its possible.
Then how about you share the game yourself here, a week after the release on patreon.
This way, your fancy patreons can wank their souls 7 days before Us, f95zone community (some creepy pirates who seems to represent a threat for you now that the game is very popular, especially thanks to F95 promotes )

I'm guessing that you've already considered offering one time payments for your games? Does the math simply not work out with a model like that?

You do seem to have a reasonable understanding about the realities of software development on the PC platform. Have you considered offering your games via patreon and through one time payments? I'm sure you have, but I'd be much more likely to at least consider purchasing a license for 10-20 USD depending on the previous and current quality of the project. I'd be happy to receive the copy one or more months later, which would presumably be a stable release.

I usually pirate software when I have absolutely no intention of ever purchasing it with one exception being cases where I want to test the software to make sure that it runs fine. I'm also not in a financial position where I can afford to contribute to game development on a monthly basis.

There have been some projects on this site that I would like to contribute to, but I'm not willing to jump on patreon until the scene has developed into a more trust-worthy place. I'd reconsider this with a developer that has a previous track record of hitting advertised release dates in a sustainable way, ideally with a completed game already made with a working process.

Changing subjects back to the game and off of petty drama.

Do you have any plans down the road for the mom and daughters to get content together?
Maybe I'm just weird but I'd love to see some threesomes with your cast. Ideally where the girls actually interact.
I know were a long way out story wise from that being possible but I'd love to hear it's on your check list.

We have a metric on Patreon that count's the "Lifetime Pledge" if you where a Patreon for 6 months you will recive the game once it's fully released for "free" because you helped in it's development.

All your other points are valid. But again we have the right to protect our game. And again there is demo for those who want to try before paying anything :)
Didn't know the first point, good to know. For the second, I understand and the time will tell if you are right or not.

Hope you guys continue the good work anyway, and who knows, maybe I could come back on an awesome update with Jessica, and Mia is always in my heart :)

See you around

I've been a patreon ($5) of inceton for a while. i think it will be a year this july. the only reason why i am is because i downloaded his content for free from this website. i would have never consider supporting inceton unless i pirate his content from the beginning. i bring this up because i think most of his patreons are like me. we pirate his game for a while and when we notice his content stays good and his updates are regular we consider being a patreon. i still pirate his game even though im a patreon for the bonus content.

for the old folks here, do you remember big brother? this was one of the biggest hit games and he made the mistake putting in this super copywrite stuff and it impact his patreons where they are less now then when he started.

treasure of nadia is the gold standard now. they produce content every 2 weeks, they dont care about copywrite stuff, and they focus on people sharing their stuff as a way of advertising. if devs want more patreons this is the blueprint.

I love the game, but is there any way to make the bonus images (red dot top right) or the spin options be automatic, or just have the indicators be closer to the middle, not in the furthest corner of the screen? It means that my attention is focused there, not on the text/images.
