I mean, they update their Patreon with public posts pretty regularly with updates for the games they're working on (including this one) so I would assume yes. They just seem to always be working on like 5 games at once.

2.1.2 is a downgrade compared to 2.0 . the animation quality is worse according to devs . ill upload it here maybe later this month . i'm in no hurry to download and upload a 20gb with no new content. anyone else is free to upload it here before that if they like .

Not really, at least not on purpose, what they did was add SFX to them, and all the comments on Patreon say the quality took a nosedive.

Damn, that sounds like recompression/reencoding instead of just muxing ... except if the guys only say so because they don't like the sfx.
Good that I backed up my previous GOG versions. If I find it all too annoying, I just might replace the viideos.
And there's always the video enhancement mod available on this site, even if some of the videos are buggy (jumping frames)

it was on purpose . inceton said they reduced the anim quality cause SFX + HQ was causing performance issues .

I hope in S03E05 there will be some actual story progression, and by story progression I mean getting closer to understand what's going on with the bugs in the software/hardware that cause the day repetition.
We don't know other than that Jessica will have a bonus scene. WHICH I an extremely happy about since Jess is best girl.
I think its more like the bonus scenes in season 2 which were canon like the cop and nurse ones or the no fucks given day. Its not Ntr. I think they're done with that especially since they have a new game called Resort of Temptation for that.
