Thank you for those words of encouragement. And yes, I do want to do right by all characters, including those not considered the main cast. It means a lot to know you're enjoying the current story path and hope that feeling will continue going forward.

And that is a personal and professional choice I have tried to cultivate in my writing, not just in Lust Theory, but also in writing L Bound, and in my other works that came before joining the Inceton team.

This is a bit of a deep dive into my writing process and philosophy, but as the writer, having favorites is counterproductive to a good story, especially in a game that thrives on having multiple, unique LIs with their own fan bases.

As a writer, I feel it's my responsibility to love and find the joy and connection to all the characters I write. It's often said that one of the major strengths of a good writer is the ability to get into another person's head and see the world through their eyes. I like to think that doesn't just mean being able to inhabit the minds of the characters I write, but also trying to put myself in the shoes of the readers themselves, too, to appreciate and see the story and what pulls them in through their eyes.

Of course, there are limits to this. The adage, 'You can't please everyone,' rings true here, and even among individual fan bases, there will be differences of opinion on where a character's story should go next and what is wanted.

But in the main, I try to cultivate a mindset that avoids favoritism, seeking to see and show the best of each character and their story.

I like this, it gives the impression that each main girl is being treated equally, which I like a lot.

I’ve just about finished a replay of S1, and that season has a very heavy bias towards Elizabeth. She gets like 12 scenes or something in the entire game. Meanwhile Sophie is lucky if she gets 3 scenes lol.

Season 1 is so ass because of the one day loop format gives us no meaningful scenes with most of the girls. Also new update is out

I don’t mind the fact that not every girl gets a full sex scene in Season 1, but I do mind the fact that the balance is very uneven. Poor Sophie only has two scenes in the entirety of Season 1 and she’s the only girl left out of the very long Christmas event as well.

Also heck yeah new updates out! And it’s Megan and Zoe!!!

Bro you weren't there when the games was new and being updated. It was torture. It took me midway through season 2 to start fucking with it.

I’ve been around since Season 2’s development. I just haven’t been as active on here until more recently.

I personally don’t mind the build up to things in Season 1. I like a good storyline in these types beyond just the sex.

Your point about not fucking with the game until around midway through Season 2? That’s where I think the game drops off in quality because it turns into a fuckfest. They had a great plot idea with Season 2 (The day moved forward suddenly, so now MC has to be a bit more careful), but they don’t do anything with it. He immediately goes back to what he was doing in S1, thinking there is no consequences.

That’s why I like what Season 3 is doing. It provides a much more proper storyline where MC has to deal with what happened on the final Friday that he doesn’t remember, and sort out his relationships with all his girls before Alice fixes the loops. There’s proper build up again. MC isn’t just going straight into sex because he can’t, especially in this update, which focuses on Megan and Zoe. He has a lot of work to do.

Anyway, I can’t wait to play the update. This is the one I’ve been waiting for.

I prefer season 3 as well. But I need to have some action as well in a AVN. Especially with the characters like Jessica and Nicole who fit my fetishism to a T (older sister and teacher.) That's why I much prefer Season 2 to 1. Only thing holding Season 3 back right now is lack of content which should be solved soon. I just hope we get a Season 4 and 5 as well.

from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.

sorry, i'm not interested anymore. others made unofficial Android versions for Season 3 previously, you should ask them to continue what they started.
