Yep - definitely reads like an eastern european ceo message (the difference is that in the eastern bosses cannot fully hide their disdain for their own employees and customers

The only complaint I get is the location one - even if you have the assets, if it's not a set that you've built before that first setup eats a lot of time unless you want it to look like crap. That + a tight deadline will not work.
But I guess now there's a 0% chance for LT to be finished this year - they'll probably use Embercat's endings since it's easier than anything else at this point. It'll just be pornier than initiallyintended

Yeaah, look it's easy to dump on him and call him an asshole or whatever. But I'm willing to grant that it's a messy situation and he's clearly not...Used to profesionnalism? Lmao, he's talking to him like you'd chat with some guy you hang out with or something. Which can be perceived as rude, by someone who is more professional in his interactions.
That said, he likes his ideas but not his execution, maybe the process of delivering updates was slow or whatever, I'm sure somewhere in there he has grievances that are legitimate. And there definitely was a mismatch in communication styles between the two.
Though just firing the guy AND THEN offering him a demotion instead of just letting him work on LB and changing his job title & responsabilities on LT was a such fucking braindead move, his balls are probably all the way up in his skull for this.
It's just that, well, production issues aside I think Embercat was doing a great job executing on his ideas week to week. Most people agree.
That and uh, well his view on what makes a good game and how he'll write the story is up in the air but he seems to be going towards a crash.
Hope it doesn't happen and he can write decently while implementing the ideas he liked from Embercat AND making the fappathon he wants. I'm not optimistic but I'm hoping he can pull it off.

Well... Maybe Serbia is not what it's usually considered properly-Eastern europe, but it looks quite-Eastern Europe seen from a canonical-Western Europe perspective...
You should ask him if he had the same problem with Vivix during LT2 and LT3 and that's why he dropped out. I'd be curious to know what this situation was. Maybe it's not as bad as I thought it was.

Are Inceton games being sabotaged here for some reason? On the "Latest Updates" page, the dates listed are for the first post, while all games here have their dates listed as the last update. Thus, if you sort by date, their updates never appear at the top of the list, but are buried at the bottom. This one, for instance, is being listed as seven years old.
Inceton are banned from being promoted due to use of heavy DRM in their games previously, and for mass reviewing Lust Bound on its initial releases.

Poor guy... But does anyone care about "reviews" here? Most of them are shitty and could not even be called reviews, but would be better described as a "statement of adequation to the 'reviewer's' tastes."

Lancelot thinks the shitty Lust Time feature is actually a competitive advantage?
Just for that I'm going to mod it out of all Inceton games.
Edit: Got a drop-in version working for Lust Theory - Season 3 this evening. It doesn't overwrite files so it should work for new versions without needing updated and it should be universal for all their newer games using the same standardized code. I need to do some testing on those other games yet, but I'll probably have it uploaded tomorrow.
The painful part will be doing it for their old games. Like seasons 1 and 2 of Lust Theory. They copied and pasted the Lust Time code all over the place in those games like a bunch of amateurs.

There is no real "use" for Lust Time. The way I've seen it used, you just write your regular sex scene and then choose sets of 3 similar-ish animations that are gonna be held on a loop until the player opens the fucking drag down menu and clicks on a different option. Sometimes the "speeds" change the positions (to the point that they replaced them with more abstract hearts later on), so it's really just there to fuck with the player (again, I've heard they added utility to it in later games but making a useless feature THEN adding uses to it is wild).
But to be fair, the changes in speed and position trigger transition scenes so there being dialogue, interruptions etc. isn't hampered by the use of Lust Time...Well unless you count the fact that it has to come in sets of three transitions for every "part" of it.

The one possible use case I've thought of for lust time is replaying - either letting you skip the entire scene with a single click, or skipping around within the scene.
I'm not sure either of those cases has any actual utility, but they are things you couldn't easily do without it.

Yeah, in theory. But in practice, Lust Time scenes are locked, you HAVE to do them linearly, even on subsequent playthroughs.
Worse, you can't speed through Lust Time sequences like you can regular play by pressing CTRL, so in practice it ACTIVELY stops you dead in your tracks if you're trying to speedrun through a scene and you can only go back, never skip forward and rolling back is already a default RenPy' feature.

Hello can anyone Help me with a save Load ERROR that i have encounter?My last save was at the End of 0.6.1 Ver. of the game i download the New 0.8.3 and i got this.......can any one halp me with a save or an advice of what to do?thank you in Advance!
Same thing happened to me when reloading saves from updates this far back. If you have access to previous versions of the game (they should still be in this thread), try downloading a previous version (such as 0.7.0) and progressing some more while upgrading gradually to the latest one.
Otherwise, you might want to start a new playthrough.
