This isn't the same as making a clone though. It is technically replication since he can separate and reintegrate at will and keeps the memories of both copies. The copy isn't a separate person like it would be with cloning. The best example of replication I can think of is the Marvel character Multiple Man. His duplicates are not individual characters and they can all rejoin the main version at will. The best example of cloning would be Orphan Black or Star Wars. All copies are completely different people to the original person being cloned.

So we don't rehash the same tired old topic, yeah it's pretty obvious the dev has run out of ideas. The clones seem like something that would be a hidden event and not part of the main plot. It does give that same feeling now that I really think about it.

Thats exactly what im thinking, this update nearly all scenes should be hidden event, they are giving exactly same vibe as hidden events and their quality is in that way aswell.
Gotta applaud Inceton for the trolling. Everyone screeching about the NTR hidden events, so he did this update, and people still screeching about the guy fucking every girl with himself. And he made part of the main story. You people arguing that this is still NTR and feel wronged, you are falling into the joke.

I guess the old idiom is true, you can't please everyone all the time. Also, no, this is clearly an evolution of the story. How does he stop time with a random sentence? It's basically a cheat code that pauses the program he is in and that has been in it since S1. Moving to the next day was the first glitch in the program and there has been further glitching throughout the other updates. The program the MC is in is continuing to degrade and cause weird stuff to occur, like Slenderman, duplicating himself and having the libido of the girls go straight to 10. Him pausing the simulation or whatever is going on is probably what started the glitching. So, it is all part of the plot the dev has had since the start.
The game had an interesting yet hard story ideea. And the dev delivered in the 1st game , now due to many factors (one being of course the patreon donors interference with the plot) the story is rushed and becomes dumbed-down.
At this point his other works Summer with mia, Inside jennifer or red falls are way more interesting and not a waste of time and brain cells. Shame it had potential but it ruined some characters like meghan and zoe for exemple...
