I haven’t played the longer Ending 1 yet, but Ending 2 I have played, and it feels tacked on, with no real explanation for what’s happening, and Alice playing basically no part in the ending, and also suddenly being affected by the “one divided by zero” trick (which also comes back with no explanation beyond “I guess that bug is still here”) despite Alice also being affected by the loops. It’s not particularly interesting, it’s bland tbh.
It’s been pretty much confirmed that Ending 1 is Embercat’s ending, and Ending 2 wasn’t done by him. So I’m really looking forward to getting to the longer Ending 1 and seeing what Embercat had in place.
Otherwise, Ellie and Alice’s stories are quite good (or what I’ve played of Alice’s at least) and continue with the writing quality of the previous updates.
I think Lancelot just needs to understand that explanations and building a story are not boring. Really, sex scenes should compliment the story, not having the “story” (if it exists) exist around what amounts to a fuckfest.
