"AI" scalers always messes up eyes and mouth. The comic look is
Agree, especially the faces, eye and mouth details are too generic. The algorithm mixes some "realistic" components in which don't fit.

What he describes sounds like Season 3
Yes, MC visits his mom in the hospital and they have some fun. But I think he mixed up a bit what happened with Sofie, Amy and her mom.
Business suit and that other younger bloke are part of the story, that much is true. MC is trying to impress Amy's mom and she "tests" him at some point. But he won't touch her, they use some toys, the devs try to promote these, have a contract. The night club scene with sofie and amy comes later.
I know it's season three but the playthrough is in Russian.
