Ultimately if I feel that there's a good idea for a S4, and they get a good writer onto the project, then I have no problems with a S4 happening. I do wish that they'd give some time to other projects before considering a S4 though. Give Lust Bound a couple seasons and finish Nora before thinking about giving LT a fourth season imo.

But yes, Embercat's firing and the Christmas deadline ended up with a rushed set of endings that are very disappointing for a game that first started back in like 2017/2018 or something.

I don't know where you see any material for a S4?? The story around Alice and her computer homunculus and their activities to bring mastress Alice and the MC together has been told to the end. Finis and nothing more to tell. There is no logical reason to create a new time loop.

Imo, S4 would only work with a different MC and preferrably a different LI cast too because:
a) The current story is complete, nothing to add, gotta start something new;
b) According to rumours, Lancelot wants to re-capture the spirit of S1 with its carefree chaotic attitude and the inventive fuckfest, but the S1-3 MC has been through too much and got too much character growth to get back there.

So, in a perfect world, S3 gets a DLC where every MG and not just Alice gets the reboot to Thursday and a big, proper ending. After that, if Inceton absolutely have to keep their flagship project afloat, they build S4 around a new cast, with Alice and Carol having to test some new functionality and launching a loop for that. Alice stays in shadows because she might be together with S1-3 MC, but Carol is made fuckable - I've seen some demand for that around. I think it might work, because Lancelot seemingly prefers fuckfest approach rather than story approach, and players who want that are less attached to specific characters and will accept the cast being new if they are hot and represent different kinks.

That's why I said if there's a good idea for it, then I'd be open to a S4, but as it is, I'm mostly happy with where things are now. Shitty endings not withstanding.

That's also why I said that they need to focus on their newer projects for the time being. Finish Nora, Finish LB1, and then I'd hope they'd consider an LB2 and the Shackbang remake (which it desperately needs), before even considering maybe coming back to LT. But I'd want them to focus on their newer stuff first.

altogether right, but then call the new story however you want but not Lust Theory S4. Coz there will be no relation at all to the old Lust theory.
