You're right, but that logic only works if the end goal is already in the game. This is more like a carrot on a stick, but without the carrot at the end.

True, and that is why I almost never play games here on f95 in updates and if possible, only the finished product. No reason to blueball myself. I can wait.
"Corruption", the game before this had an abundance of sex scenes and were relatively quickly unlocked. It only spiraled more and more deeper into the theme at this point. Which was fine and what was expected from a porn game.
"Lust Village" on the other hand has undeniably upped the quality when looking at the promo pics alone but it seems it takes itself way too serious and is loosing the point. When was the start of the rework? 2 years ago?
2 years without ever getting to a point with a proper sex scene. Thats wild.

it's taking far too long to get anywhere with this game. It would have been better for the developer to stick with the previous game and complete all the missing pieces.
I basically feel the same way. My expectations were a bit more, especially after the dev really improved their craft over the years making Corruption. My thought was that they'd start this one with a really good idea of where they were going and just keep adding on content, making it a bigger and better version of the older game, but so far that's not the case. I guess I'm going to just wait and see if it ever gets closer to that before playing again.
Okay so took some crash course myself just to solve this. This will also serve as a PSA to other Renpy games that remove the skipping options or other preferences.

Not really. It's a corruption game because the corruption itself is the focus, not sex. Sex is the final achievement, but I'm just as excited about a nun going from being chaste to being alright giving a handjob, and I'm excited about her corruption expanding a bit more and convincing her to give a blowjob; every step is just as exciting as the last, to the point where when penetrative sex is added, it's just another exciting step. If you're playing this whole game bored out of your mind just waiting for them to start having sex, then yeah, it's not the game for you, and won't be even when sex is added to the game. Corruption games are about the journey, not the destination, so I'm enjoying every update because there's always a furthering of that journey.
