Yeah, javascript random errors every time..."missing lines in some project files"... I'm not exactly sure what or why, but tried on clean windows user profiles with new install, VM, same thing... definitely software, but maybe doesn't play nice with something hardware or driver on my HW on Win.

Ah right, if you are using a VM that's a different story. We'll look into this and get back to you.
VM was a try to make it work in a clean environment, trying to exclude my hardware variables out of it.... It's not my main setup

can someone help me i downloaded the base game.i am confused do you need to download other patches as well?

For this base version, you do not need to download any patches (0.7.9.8). In the future, you will have to or use the Demon Patcher. I hope this helps!
