Did you download the base game fully or did you use the Demon Patcher? You might be missing some files, or they might have been removed by your OS.

i downloaded the full game then used the patcher nothing bad happened then i got into the main menu pressed start game then you know the rest

Ah I see. Because you already had the latest version the patcher might have tried to download extra files and remove others. If you download the latest full version and don't use the patcher it should work.

I've followed the Installation instructions:
1. Download the Base Game
2. Install Demon Patcher and open your base game dir with it
3. Update the game to the latest version
4. Open the game dir and launch the game

The version seems to be 0.7.9.9 according to the main menu?
I tried to verify the files with the Demon Patcher, but got "Failed to parse manifest" as result.

I've extracted the base game again, but did not use the Demon Patcher.
The version now seems to be 0.8.0.1 and I can start a new game.

yea now it works, tho i dont know why you decided to make it 3d instead of how it was its a huge downgrade as of now... its totaly buggy models look awful, lighting horrible, animations janky as hell, movment system bad i got permanently stuck on invisible crap like 3 times, the play area looks more like a toybox of assets rather than an actual playing field... camera absurd.... and you made your own job 30 times harder by going 3d..... well good luck tho ill keep an eye on the project but currently its not worth playing.

• Kicked that pesky Subdiv plugin to the curb. No more glitches messing with your chaos!

NPC Overhaul Madness

• Our enemies leveled up: all Enemy NPC code is rebuilt with the shiny new pipeline — smarter, faster, deadlier.
• Bug NPCs and Hugger NPCs got the full Blender makeover — models and animations are fresher than ever.
• The mighty Ogre returns with rebuilt models and animations, looking meaner and moving smoother.
• Wolf NPCs are still rocking their classic FBX style for now — vintage vibes!

⚙ Performance & Optimization

• We optimized assets across all scenes with Level of Detail (LOD) — expect better performance without sacrificing the carnage.
• Navigation agents recalculated so enemies chase you better... if you’re quick enough!

Animations & Outfits

• All sex animation data rebuilt for all scenes — smoother moves guaranteed.
• Outfits got a full rebuild too, using the new pipeline. Looking good while destroying the world!

• Removed all buildings causing movement issues — no more getting stuck while running wild.
• Joining faction scenes for Wolf & Ogre have been updated — choose your pack wisely!
• Temporarily removed teleport ability (it was bugged, but we’ll bring it back better than ever).
