Maul didn't exist back thenHonestly i still dont get how iron blood would lose the war if the mc doesnt side with them. They have maul who is apparently stronger than the mc. Where was he during the war?
Really? I remembered pretty clearly that final fight in the war is one of a few fights that can't be won using lust so the mc definitely brute forced that.Maul didn't exist back then
If you wanna get technical, Plot Armour
If you really wanna argue for lore reason, Maul is clearly NOT stronger than neither of the Clan Chief. He would just be another nameless (Slightly stronger) grunt in the war, You won't know him unless you get personal.
MC is not helping by brutal force.![]()
Funny you tried to argue for "Lore Reason" then proceed to not stand for lore reason.Really? I remembered pretty clearly that final fight in the war is one of a few fights that can't be won using lust so the mc definitely brute forced that.
Pretty sure this is just two different writers not accounting for what the other already wrote.
...Funny you tried to argue for "Lore Reason" then proceed to not stand for lore reason.
Clearly you don't even understand what yourself is thinking.
As I said before, it's pretty simple, Maul didn't exist back then.
There's no "different writers contradict each other". Not sure why you even try to bad mouth the writer(s).
To be fair, when you fight Maul, you're not doing so with the intent to seriously injure or kill him. The results of a non-lethal sparring match can differ from a fight for your life. And as for Roushk, do we know exactly how lizards and orcs compare in size or strength? For all we know a random orc could be able to defeat him. If a random human could do it, why not an orc?...
Of course you would think I don't understand myself when you yourself don't understand what I'm saying.
Him being written later means that the writer should already know what the mc is capable of. That's what i mean by writers not accounting what the other has written. Also, if you want lore reason, mc can overpower Roushk, the strongest warrior of the lizard tribe. Do you think a random orc is more powerful than Roushk?
Korg is stronger than most orcs and when he and Roushk wrestle, the only way for Roushk to lose is if he got distracted by the mc. So yeah, Roushk is probably around or even stronger than even some orc chiefs. To be fair, when you fight Maul, you're not doing so with the intent to seriously injure or kill him. Actually, the wrestling match between Roushk and Korg has a 50/50 outcome, and Roushk doesn't get distracted by you when he loses. You might be thinking of Rhot vs Barrel? And Korg can't defeat Maul unless Maul lets him. So I think Maul would have a pretty decent shot at beating Roushk.Korg is stronger than most orcs and when he and Roushk wrestle, the only way for Roushk to lose is if he got distracted by the mc. I should really re-read the older scenes. I kept mixing them up. But then again, its back at square one. Introducing a character that strong way after the war is over without any explanation on why he wasn't participating on one of the iron blood's biggest war just raise a lot of questions. It shouldn't be too hard to make up a reason like "when the war happened, he was on a mission far from the tribe" or something along those lines.Actually, the wrestling match between Roushk and Korg has a 50/50 outcome, and Roushk doesn't get distracted by you when he loses. We don't know that he didn't participate. If he was there, he likely would have been busy fighting Skullbreaker orcs along with other Iron Bloods. It's not like we took the time to meet every single Iron Blood warrior during the war. We only spoke with the ones we already knew.I should really re-read the older scenes. I kept mixing them up. Its more about the fact that he just shows up out of nowhere. The mc spent a lot of time in the tribe while preparing for the war and an orc with his attitude would be really hard to miss.We don't know that he didn't participate.
