Man, I went in fully expected to be disappointed, just like most "big updated after a delay" from 90% of the devs. There's also a bit of main plot forwarding, assuming you're on a "good" path with everyone. I'm currently doing it now but the TL;DR is you can have all the tribes & humans meet up for an assembly at the fair (not a spoiler, it's in the patch notes). Pretty cool idea of unifying everyone; curious where it goes in about another year or two.In all seriousness, hopefully Hyao's back to making solid updates, though he only has about 3 weeks for the next one... I expect it to be a bit delayed, like May 10th-13th or so to make up for it, and then with June, he'll probably be back to 5th-10th as he says is the norm.
Edit: I'm through the "main introductions" part of the assembly, very cool stuff! Nothing really sexy, but some comedy thrown in and whatnot, and now there's uh, a whole LIST of conversations to go through:

While the update was in fact quite late (almost a full week past his usual maximum date of the 10th), there's plenty of SFW and NSFW to enjoy in this update. Very well done as I was hoping it would be based on his own words.
But am surprised Hayo really stayed true to his words, without fluff and bluff.
It's really rare to see diligent devs in porn game space nowadays, I'm more confident with this dev, based on his actions.
(Thx for the Gallery version, btw)
I was just talking about reality. It's not about whether I agree with you or not. Nothing personal about me nor you.I don't care about yours or anyone elses' definition of what it means to give money in Patreon. For the record I'm not mad at you or anything (because I know my tone and wording might get mistaken as such). It's just that, in my mind, if -I- give them money then in my purview -I'm- investing in that project. You and others might not agree with it, but that's how I see it. I don't usually give money away out of the goodness of my heart; if I give my financial support, then I expect something in return.
I know that's not how most people see it, and I know I cannot hold the dev accountable because there's no contract. And that is precisely why I don't support these devs on Patreon. I want to see progress that culminates in a finished product, and I simply don't believe these platforms to be a good medium for that. With no way to hold these people accountable, I might as well be throwing money away on a gamble that might or might not pan out as intended. It's simply not for me.
It's way more advantageous for me to buy the finished product when it comes out. If ever. AAA games are very expensive nowadays, yet that would be nothing compared to 5-15$ a month for 5-10 years to support these devs. That's an insane amount of money to throw at a gamble project. 5$ a month adds up to 60$ a year. I could buy a whole ass game with that money, heck, I could pay PS or Xbox 20$ a month and I'd instantly gain access to a whole library of games! Investing in Patreon just sounds like a bad idea comparatively.
In other words, from a consumer's perspective, Patreon just isn't for me. I have no idea what is going on with this dev or his project, I just stumbled upon this thread, saw what people were saying and decided to pitch in my 2 cents... about stuff in general.
You can hv whatever opinion of yours, just know it's not aligned with reality:
Whenever you throw money at patreon / crowdfunding / lending, You should expect to not receive anything in return, or not in the way you wanted - unless the it's a complete transaction.
Hence it's very important to do your own research, "Buyer Beware".
Personally I share the same sentiment with you, I don't pay for patreon subscription (why do you think I use this site
It's not for me, but that doesn't mean it's bad - Many creators do find great support and success there, as well as many satisfied patrons.
