I dont know if hyao will even finish this game..i mean its already how many years????...and so many plot twist and more forgotten character that has yrs still no new story lines...even his master still unknown nor the mc still not find for this long run..and daddy green CTHULHU.dont know if there is new story line for him.
TBH I don't think "Finish this game" is even on Hyao's Pipeline.
The plots are weak, all over the places, and lacking a defined direction - that's not how you make game aimed to be finished.
Not helping Hyao just do whatever he feels like and goes with the flow.
Was discussing "hobby" for other games and I think it also applies to Hyao - developing LD has become his hobby, there's no rush to finish.
Tho it's not inherently a bad thing,
as long as you are Not looking for the satisfaction of a good closure, nor expecting specifics.
(Also, as long as the dev is not using it to maximise money milking
- which Hyao definitely is Not doing)
Kind of like the Delima of a "healthy live service game" - it won't end anytime soon, but you will eventually be bored.
Think about it, we don't really have many games of this type that is "finished".
"Corruption of Champions 1" feels more like the dev grew tired of it so cut short to start CoC 2 and TiTs.
"Only I have Skills" is also in the same boat, it's cut short cuz the dev didn't know how to continue.
