It is (IMO). But there are a lot more work done on the CG.
In fact I'm pretty sure ZoroJ Inspired StanG, and many other artists.
So it's really a shame that ZoroJ does not wish to commit on this amazing project.
I honestly didn't expect ZoroJ & Hyao had such mercenary working relationship.

There is no point in comparison since people will chose the art style that they prefer more, since they judge with bias, and will chose the one that are lesser in quality of it but more prefferable in style, despite the style may be not the same, but there are slight similarities, and I belive the current partnership are 100% better, since when we had 4 cgs added to the game in one patch, I dont think that ever happened xD
Ofc it would have been better if all the old assets have been replaced but sadly its to late for that since alot stuff already has been done, but people either will grow overtime and enjoy the new stuff more since there would be more of it, or just move on and play something else since its pointless expecting it to be same as it was, for some it will be better for some it will be worse, there is no way to satisfy all
If you wanna experince all I think you wouldnt be able to finish all stuff in a week ( even longer if you read all and doing all variants of the moments like all versions of the bottom, top and etc. ), there is alot stuff

It is. That's why My initial comparison is NOT about "Which one is better", but "how much work is done in the similar time-frame."
(Also if you are really on it, it's not just "Different art-style bias", ZoroJ's arts are objectively better)
And there's no denying the current partnership is much better, just like I said.
In fact it's a "Live and Learn" situation where Hyao gained so much experience over the years, knows much better how to handle the project, overcoming hardship.
(If what the other said is true, ZoroJ never committed to LD, so his leaving is to be expected)
Thing is, you can not stop people from comparing, especially ZoroJ fans. It just doesn't matter (to anyone else).
Also I don't think they need to replace old arts. The style is similar enough, and there are only a few of them that're out of place.
I did have Mega but after using so many uses, It asked for a payment. I had to switch to something that was free. I could try gofile next time <3

In this case I'd actually say Hyao is in the wrong due to a couple of facts, some of the characters in LD actually belong to ZoroJ as they were created prior to LD; Korg/Booner/Bernard (Only know because I have previous art) so I believe they were/are genuine friends because it's be pretty poor form if his using them now without permission
