Whenever I start to feel like this, I like to look at the changelogs from a year ago. Does it feel like there's been a whole year of updates worth keeping up with?
This game is in a pile with a bunch of other games that don't seem to have an end in sight. I'm glad to check out the latest changelogs and see if any of the new content calls to me, but I definitely don't play each update. I'd rather come back to a whole lot of new stuff.
This is one of the only real complaints I have with the kind of game development Patreon lends itself to. I don't see this game ever concluding, and I think that's fine! But this leads to some really complicated webs of interactions within the game. Soooo many scenes I doubt many people will see unless they dig into the changelogs.
It's even worse: It makes people don't care about the game anymore, only the porn bits.
It's also not a "Come back in a year" kind of problem, even if there are tons of contents get added, because they are all fragmented, lacking cohesion, you will lost interest pretty quick.
That's why most talked about characters are still the old ones like Bernard and Logan, who were built at the time when everything work in unity for the story, and character development mattered.
The new characters I don't really care anymore besides the hot arts and scenes.
Even the likes of Maul who got tons of contents that I really liked, I have no attachment to him at all, almost like one-night stand (for many nights
).
It's only "Fine" if you just want fragmented hot bara sex for a quick fap session, and maybe that's exactly what people are looking for. So guess all I can say is what a shame.
