No, it's a problem with the alpha on the mesh,that's why it looks painted. The alpha does not map correctly after the scale, so the hair needs either an UV remap, which is really hard to achieve, or a rebuild from scratch in Blender. Currently, that is what I'm working on .the hair is painted on and colors are smudged ... it was a quick sloppy preview. Good thing the body looks great.
1MB 4K renders are a great achievement ... you can even play with our resident cruncher for a fraction of that.
