Considering the tech level the mad scientists have here, and how we're completely ignoring the complexity of many other things, we might as well make smokeless powder out of wood.

Is there much in the way of "bad end" content in this? Seems like the female MC generally gets raped when she loses, but then she sort of just wordlessly stands back up a few meters away.

No there are no permanent bad ends currently however

I understand respawning (potentially unscathed) after a defeat scene and such, but I was just kind of surprised that losing to most bosses with no hearts left just kind of has you fall over with the boss instantly losing interest. Particularly since the game is so wild in other aspects.

Some bosses have in-battle rape (if you don't pick yourself up quickly), while others have defeat scenes.

Prepare to be kinda disappointed. Modding is currently limited to static objects that can be used as decorations.

There are a couple cool theme'd decorations based on the flesh pit and spider lair and there's one decent looking japanese style house that can be entered. But other than that it's 95% just props for screenshots and shitty lifted screenshots of anime characters.

Yeah I know and I also exaggerated a little it only takes 2lbs of bird/bat shit but the extraction process takes a couple of days.
Charcoal is actually easy to make, an old blacksmithing trick is make a really hot campfire with wood; preferably hardwood but any will do; and dosing it with water once it dries you're left a perfect type of slow burning charcoal that will burn hotter and almost as long as coal.
Sulfur is really the only difficult ingredient to get unless the island by chance has an extinct volcano.

There is a post with v18 on page 502 I think. But as for the thread getting updated it depends on when the staff get off their asses and do it. I know they've been notified at least 3 times about the post with the update.
