I'm not sure how useful she can be tho

Considering how easily she kept getting killed by sharks on our way to the base when I first snatched her up, I've been reluctant to leave her anywhere on her own. She doesn't seem very strong. I know she'll just revive, but raiders would keep coming once she was down. So not sure it'd be ideal. A lobster or two would likely do the job though. I'm guessing they have a ton of HP? (haven't dealt with those yet)

u know u can set npcs to survivor to avoid them getting attack and lose hp right?
mermaid's attack is to shoot floating bubbles to enemies but...yeah, its hard to let her hit enemies on land

wow, how long does it take to load ur save

Hmmm...depends really,
In V0.16, it took me around under 35~60 seconds
In V0.18, it somehow took me under 36~40 seconds! Amazing number really I do say so myself.
Given this is all stored in an external SSD

Random gaming tip :
Let's say you're poor or just don't have the ability to own a Decent Gaming PC setup,
Having an External SSD to load up games really helps a ton, even if it is a small one
(I can own a decent Gaming PC myself now...but i'm just too comfortable with this Dell Inspiron 15 7559 xD)

Brother I'm gonna take a wild stab here and say you're a fan of Factorio and Satisfactory

Oof, that stab missed. xD
Factorio and Satisfactory is really not my cup of tea, I'm more into WW2/RTS/FPS/Tank games kind of guy in the first place
Somehow I weirdly got interested in this game no joke, I'm not even into the Sex part is the funny part, I'm just trying to push the limit on just how you can capture high level natives without cheats or find places to build stuff out

Yep. But if I set her as a survivor then she won't attack either, which brings us back to her not being very useful as a guardian against underwater raiders.

Well this is funny. I'm on a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 myself... and while I don't own any SSD's (need to look into that) I have the game installed on an external HD, which admittedly only helps with saving disk space on my already overloaded laptop heh.

Sharks only spawn near Beaches tho...
The location I am at and assuming your base is at, She won't be attacked by Sharks
And with the fact that "Melee" NPCs sink to the bottom of the "River", the only thing you got to worry about is the "Ranged" Natives taking her out
Then again, you can dump anyone in the bottom of the River and leave them there to eh..."Clean up the unwanted guest"

The Androids/Cyborg, I hate to admit but I am lacking in "parts"
With the system being rather half-assed at the current state of the game,
The only ones that can be justified to make are really Female native bodies...
And since the dead ones you cannot tweak their body features, you're sorta forced to be picky with the "material" you got
Like these two, they're the Nicer looking Type-C Androids I got at my Resource base outer Wall



Compare to the Few Failures...I really kinda don't want to get rid of them, I'm sure someone will share the same thought on why these were "abandoned" here

Before anyone mentions it, Yes I am aware you could tweak them in the files but man, that is a hassle to take and I rather just not do that and own up to my own failure in "Does this skin color Match at all", staring at the bloody screen for hours on if they match or not, I have an OCD on this and I'll admit to that.

I would really love those Androids be able to wear something other than relying on "Mummy" torso for the Cloth looking body
And be able to use all of the Tools, sadly looks like that will never be the case at least for now.

Hopefully modding can catch up to making Custom Weapon/Tool/Clothes for other NPCs
The concept of Guns in this game is not unthinkable and could just be like the Bow as you need to Aim and shoot
But the way they, the devs do it with that Shotgun Boss is kinda....eh...felt unsatisfied the way it worked

I'm not concerned about sharks (I just mentioned those to make my point about the mermaid not being very tough) but about raiders. And are you sure the ranged natives are the only ones that would threaten her? I mean, when those natives are at the bottom of the river, if I swim up to them I can still hit and kill them even though I'm way above them. So I assumed they could do the same to the mermaid from below? Admittedly I haven't tested this.

The mismatched body parts are part of the fun though, at least IMHO Of course that doesn't mean they always come out looking good. I have a few that are butt ugly (like when I played around mixing male and female parts, not my brightest idea haha).

When it comes to cleaning up...ugh...
Being Picky is tough at times and sometimes you just question "bruh, where is her hands...her legs...even her boobs!"
End up having some body parts missing as you dig through 300+ raiders, I am thankful H key's existence xD

Side note,
It is funny when you kill too much at once, the game freaks out and somehow gives you "Dead but Undead" Natives, what do I mean by that?
Dead because you can't tame them at all (this setup is merely for display)
Undead because they're consider alive at the same as you can see, two of them is even missing their heads for crying out loud
You can't put dead bodies in these cages so yea, those normal looking guys had their D's cut off from the Katana slicing through waves and waves of natives.

(And yes, beautiful ladies obtain from those potions...ugh...over 100+ were used, need to farm for Goldfish now...)

Aaaahh! Well, now I see your problem LOL. I didn't think of that because I don't bother grabbing body parts after a raid. I typically just let the flesh collector clean the mess up.

For body parts, I'm the one doing the raid I just hit a village, kill everyone, then grab what I need. Granted, I tend not to worry about which part is whose, but sometimes I do want a specific head (or boobs) and so I won't use H, or if it's a girl I can use R to knock her out. Then I'll carry the bodies and chop them up later, one at a time, so I know which parts come from which body.

It'd probably be quicker and easier if you did it this way. To make it even easier you could target just one specific girl, knock her out with a stun weapon, carry her off then chop her up and use the parts for your new shiny android.

Or, if you want parts from an NPC that you can only get through a raid (like those large female natives) you could use that brilliant method you mentioned earlier of placing ore needles on the floor with a 'survivor' npc in the middle to draw them in, then once they're knocked out you can pick and choose whichever bodies you want to harvest

I don't think I've ever used the H key, by the way, what does that do?

I seem to have encountered some kind of bug - once the game loads and the initial beach dialog ends (toolbar and main game UI appears), the PC starts walking automatically up and left as though W and A are held and cannot stop moving (except when the game is paused or I hold RMB). If I press S, the PC walks down and left; if I press D, the PC walks up and right. I can't click on any objects (although clicking on the UI works).

Any suggestions?

someone mentioned that maybe its because Auto Clicker has been turned on before
