Yes, there are two options: disable the "allow love" option, which will prevent your friendship/love from increasing with anyone (MC included), or option 2, choose who you're going to stay with and exile the other person. If it happens to you with special characters, increase their love enough for the scenes and then use option 1.

The only effective way is to keep them apart. You can't really make someone like someone else as it's all based on personality, so the best thing you can do is keep them out of each other's blue circle.

I'm starting getting the hang of this game, my only issue is that for some reason only one of my natives is actually working and doing the things I ask her while the rest just stand around not doing the work I tell them to do.

I've been away from the game for awhile now. So here is what I gonna said before anything else...
I hope in the future. When all female units are pregnant-able(I still haven't updated to the latest, still stuck with the ones where the non-natives had their pregnancy locked), we do get a 'genetical breeding'-kind of system, that will let the children capable to have a look of non-natives.

Note that villagers can do work without animation, just standing on the workplace. Especially if they are chickens.
Well, male children of male MC can grow up to be Young Men, quite unlike native men, and more like male MC's clones. So it is possible that other special characters' children of the same sex would

- Fixed an issue where color changes to the male character's hips were not correctly reflected in the Merry x Male H scene.
- Fixed a bug where NPCs carried inside a house retained their house ID.
- Fixed an issue where rafts could not be used.
- Fixed a bug where saving the game while an NPC with their waiting position set outside was sleeping inside a house caused them to remain linked to the house after loading, preventing them from using it properly.
- Fixed an issue where house ID information would not update unless the status page of the status menu was open.
- Adjusted so that house IDs are displayed even for thatched-roof houses.

Cheats are designed to work only with the specific version of the game they were created for. They will not function if the game is either downgraded or upgraded to a different version.
Also I updated it to 26 ^^
