I remember when I first started playing this game, I was very annoyed with the constant raids as I felt they kept interrupting me in whatever I was doing--mainly exploring and trying to understand how the game worked. It was kind of stressful, so a way to suppress them (or at least lower their frequency) would have been really useful at that point. Later on, of course, as I got better with the game, raids became more fun.

That said, there is another reason I like to avoid raids even at this stage. Leveling up is nice but it's not really my main focus. In my case, I love building. And one thing I really dislike is when a raid starts while I'm in the middle of building.

The best workaround I've found is to have Man wear the decoy charm and build in the sky. Raids fail when you're up high, so it's a perfect solution. And whenever I want to have some fun, I just pick a spot and use the /ass command to start a raid.

Best of both worlds ;)

Placing the charm wearer on platforms built in the sky will also do the trick.

Happens with raiders too. They'll even spawn (and get stuck) on mountain sides. Annoying as hell.

Don't go up there until the raiders have arrived, though, or they'll never come. In fact, it makes me wonder if the raid won't get cancelled once you're up high. Never tried this.
I am pretty sure they lowered the frequency of raids over time, because I also remember being annoyed by constantly being raided while trying to get the first tools and weapons ready for MC, but this time around I had enough time to even build an iron workbench before being raided... and I wasn't particulary sneaky.
Some of this might actually because of skill since I know both the requirements and mechanics for a better early game, but still it's to much extra time for even this.

It's not to put a life orb there. If a girl is used in the toilet while pregnant, the pregnancy will miscarry and spawn a life orb in that slot, for you to take out.
Oooh she needs to be already pregnant. I thought putting a girl in here and waiting would get her pregnant thanks to the guys in the village, and then cause her to miscarry. Making it some kind of life orb farm.

Yeah, that also happens, but AFAIK it can be tricky to get the guys to actually use her. Search the thread for "toilet" or "asswall" to find the posts discussing it.

That's exactly how it works yes, it just takes time. To get native males to use the toilet, the easiest way is to have disable the "allow love" toggle on their orders tab -> they'll start using the toilet all the time (make sure its actually in their movement area), tough they won't have sex with anyone else. A more "organic" way to get a native to use the toilet requires making him "frustrated", basically have him have high affection for a female native (her personality matches his "like") that *doesn't* like him (his personality matches her "dislike"). In that circumstance he'll start using the toilet when at max libido.

where do we find any info on updates?
Check the devs ci-en page, apparently there's also a discord out there you can check that if it's true, or you just wait right here until some more informed person decides to share their knowledge with the rest of the class.
Current knowledge dictates "Wait for February"

Reikka: Spike Bat (man's workbench iirc)
Shino: Blood dagger (men's workbench iirc) and fork (iron workbench)
Cassie: Actually nothing

None of them are really fighter material, Reikka can kinda beat off a couple scouts in a bind.
Blood dagger is at the meat workbench

I *think* if you use the toilet yourself, the native there will never get pregnant, it has to be a native to impregnate her. That said if you put an already pregnant native in there, eventually she'll lose the belly and the life orb will appear in that second slot. It can take a while tough, it's kinda random. I once set an experiment with 6 toilets, all pregnant, 5 miscarried within the day but one took 3 days.

You can always give her a potion made by the old male native, it works instantly.
Shino: Blood dagger (men's workbench iirc) and fork (iron workbench)
Mens workbench has the normal dagger, but she can equip it aswell.

There's an item that lets you modify the number of raiders. AFAIK it will completely disable raids if you set the number to a negative value.
Yeah, I remember reading about that a while back, though I've never tried it. Might be a better option, I suppose. I'll have to experiment with it ;)

I believe the patch notes state that when the player character uses the Toilet there is no chance of miscarriage unless the player uses an abortion potion. While NPC male impregnations always end as miscarriages.

Is there a way to resurrect a dead enemy NPC? They got caught in my Werewolf's and (Android?)'s crossfire. (For whatever reason, it's name isn't translated)
ah yeah sometime stuff like that happen and nothing can be done, as far i remember there no revival pot yet or way to revive "dead" native

I know this months late, but there is a way to revive dead NPCs.

Put the body in your inventory, and then type the /petmax command, which gives them 100% favorability. Then you can right click to deploy them like a regular "Friend" that you tamed. It resurrects them and removes the dead status.
