Still don't understand. What should be "Back up"? What parameter affects regeneration? I thought it just should always work. And I was wrong, it's not about hearts, even with 3 hearts regeneration could not work. I "sleep till morning" on leaf bed, but it didn't help.
If you have 1/3 hearts, sleeping will restores your hearts back 3 after some time. "sleep till morning" only skips time. It doesn't restore hearts. You have to physically stay in the bed and wait.
just lay down on bed without selecting till morning or night. Like 5-8 seconds will recover all the white hearts
Doesn't seems like hearts affects self-healing. I'm on the boss fight, I can't go to bed. When I'm losing health, it regenerates some time because of self-helaing. But then it stop regenerating, health don't restoring. Even when I have 3 hearts. So it's not about hearts. I don't understand why self-healing works few times, not forever.
Health regen requires you to go several seconds without taking damage before it kicks in. The hearts are entirely separate and only serve to tell you how many times you can get knocked out before you get a Game Over.
