alright, but about mods there is no mods outside workshop for the game ?
Depends what types of mods you want. There have been a few made, like these:

Cheats Mod
https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-23-beta-steam-e-made.209671/post-13856304
WallMod
https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-butlermods.230081/
YotanMods (10 in 1)

Purple Heart's mods (15 in 1)
https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-34-e-made.209671/post-14603573
Valen's Yona Mod
https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-43-2-beta-e-made.209671/post-17225182
Assets Mod
https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-43-2-beta-e-made.209671/post-17656260
Cheat Table
https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-4-5-beta-e-made.209671/post-18461504

Also, keep in mind that modders tend to wait for a game to be completed before they go crazy modding it, so it makes sense that there aren't too many available yet.

anyone here have super cool bases i wanna see screenshots?
Try searching through the thread--there have been plenty of screenshots posted in the past, most notably by UnknownLurkingUser, though others have contributed as well.

So none of the unique female NPCs (Reika, Shino, etc) can have sex with the natives? That was a big disappointment
Not yet, but perhaps in the future.

Is there some way to make NPCs you equip with bows stay put if you want them to stay on platforms or defend a spot, for example?
Sure:
- Go to the location you want them to stay
- Click on the and choose the "move" button.
- Use the "Location" button to choose the spot the should stay.
- Then use "territory" button and make the blue circle as small as possible (drag it to the left.)
- Not sure if you have to make the combat area radius also smaller (from how I see it, you have to if you don't want the NPC to move out)
- The force them to look into one direction with the "waiting pose" button.

Like this they should stay in place and do their archery.

Where are you exactly when the raid fails? Can you post a screenshot?

The decoy works fine on either MC. I do it all the time.

John gave some instructions here:

The site's search function works really well, you know. But anyway, here are two saves that have been posted to the thread--one old and one from just yesterday!

I found the issue! I forgot about an npc with the decoy charm in the corner of the map, he was standing on high ground. I feel so dumb lol
Thank you so much for helping me out

That's what I've been doing, but they still have a habit of either backing away from the mobs or chasing them slightly once they've been aggroed, so you can't have them on raised platforms shooting over walls and the like.

I assume they properly have to have a minimum range to use bows.
Why they follow tho? If you have set the combat area to the lowest spot, they should stay in place.
But then, this game can be buggy, so maybe that is whats happening

Enclose them with the medium Wooden Fence (the one used for taming medium animals/monsters).

Don't actually put them inside the Fence's inventory; build the Fence around them. Easiest way is to R-click the fence then hover your cursor at an empty spot to make sure it's green, then PAUSE and move the cursor WHILE PAUSED over to the NPC you need to enclose.

Alternatively you can put the fence down first then use stairs or flag-teleport to drop the NPC inside, but that's more trouble.

I have some questions about the death raid. Can we increase the raid timer when it ends?

Personally, I think spamming blue flares (or whatever the game item is called) doesn't seem to affect the length of the death raid.

Literally, it's so difficult to kill death within the proposed time limit while avoiding letting your character faint and not die in the process.

It was possible to clear if you know how to perfect guard and are willing to let your controlled main character to die in the process.

And I'm doing this without the chainsaw which would of definitely helped. I suspect this weapon is from the halloween raid, can not confirm since I haven't bothered to summon them.

Blue/Red Smokes modify the timer until the next raid, not the time remaining for a raid itself.

Best weapon for killing Death is the chainsaw. Which is gotten from the Halloween raid as a rare drop from the Halloween Ghost enemy. Expect to repeat a few (50+ enemies) raids to get it.

You can use other multihit weapons for this too. They don't work as well but can be far easier to get. The most accessible is the shuriken from the Spring Workbench. Heavy attacking with it will shoot a spray of 3 projectiles. Just get Smash to Level 4 backed with high Speed and you should be able to spam Death to death with shuriken spray.

Note that Death drains faint (stun) HP so you can grab a few glowing fruits from the Chaos Cave so you can wail at him without stopping.

You need to edit the save and change certain lines that is based on that quest to 0 (zero).

I think the line you need to look for is: Main_TakumiFeed

Please use the ctrl+f to help search and find the line.

Make sure you change it to 0 and start the game again, and see if the quest has been reset or not.

It should look like something like this:

<QuestSave>
<questKey>Main_TakumiFeed</questKey>
<progress>0</progress>
</QuestSave>

Kind of aware but not really aware. Thanks, does it only affect real life time or does it calculate it based on game time x1 and if you speed it up, it will compensate by calculating the expected raid timer value?

I can't remember which Ruck creature can do this but was it Ruck Maid allows the player to vacuum weapons and equipment from enemies? Cause if I want to run these raids, trying to optimise time and effort, I tend to run a raid number of 100's up to 1000's cause I can farm for resources with minimal effort and level up as well.

You can use other multihit weapons for this too. They don't work as well but can be far easier to get. The most accessible is the shuriken from the Spring Workbench. That's what I have been doing but I am doing the animation cancel manually. Based on the normal gameplay speed run (with some feature exploitation), I can only manage to get speed at 100 by the time I do this for the current run through and can't clear it unless I intentionally accept that I will let my MC die in the process or get knocked out.

Note that Death drains faint (stun) HP so you can grab a few glowing fruits from the Chaos Cave so you can wail at him without stopping.
Wait... you can consume them without converting them into potions? I didn't try this, but this will definitely make the death raid more manageable without the need to resort to hit and run to sleep tactics to recover stun bar with potions as well.

-----------

Again, been trying to do the run without dying on the MC. If the MC dies, the game is reset to the last save point.

I don't think I can play this game without using save/load features. Skill difference. And, can't clear it all in one sitting, so that's good. The game has plenty of content to make it required to play the game at your leisure, choice and pace.

----------

Additional comment:
It was entertaining to watch my army of animals maul the death servitors down. Literally rabbits and wolves vs death servitors, with enough food support (like any other NPCs or units, of course they go down.

Meanwhile death is just being a chad and takes 0 damage to everyone as usual.
