I noticed that there's an icon that indicate the speeding up the game, but I can't seem to find where the key for it, does anyone know?

Well i will say i'm disappointed, bout as disappointed as i was in October when this was what i thought we were getting instead of the cave. But I don't pretend like we got nothing between then and now, speaking to truth what the dev said about h content just being rapidly consumed. In light of the complications the devs mentioned in January they seem to be operating slower than they said they would, wouldn't surprise me if this was the update meant for January(October honestly). But it's just all or nothing with some people, just chill out and look toward the march update, if that goes belly up too then fine, call your doom and gloom, but me i've always advocated for them finishing the story so the only thing they'll have to work on is h content. I am disappointed i got nothing to fap to but i'm ok with the story wrapping up, sad that Nami is optional to the ending though, the whole game even, she was on the boat with everyone else, not one ever asked where she is.

Personally, I would love to have more contents each update so I can play around with them. However, this is a two-men dev team, so I can understand if the contents can be viewed as lackluster sometimes. Also, what the dev say is absolutely true, no matter what they decide to prioritize, there will always people who think that there are other contents with higher priorities. Nothing wrong with that but it can become a minor distraction, in my opinion.

Let not put too much pressure on them so that they can focus to do one thing at a time but also let them know that people still want their game, still looking forward to new updates in order to boost their morale.

Honestly, not sure I'm misunderstanding some of the posts here or not, but... if anyone's unhappy with the speed of updates, or update priorities from the dev, go for finished games instead of in-development (early-access) games...

Games take time - and the idea of "just hire more people" isn't always a good call either, especially when having no experience in leading a bigger group and how to get them used to it all in a timely manner... (IMO that's a decision they have to take themselves, as it can drastically change the whole work-environment)

Anyway, being frustrated is fine, though it doesn't mean they don't put in any effort.
Atleast that's my (potentially unpopular) opinion.

Why would people complain about updates?

Most indie games games that are somewhat unique take at least 3 or more years to make. Even the usual CG collection porn games from japan take some 6 months to make, people should just relax. Anything full release late or mid 2026 would already be insanely rushed. I'd even say 2027 is more realistic, considering the potential and how things can be expanded and polished.
