The MC hardly needs any water so personally I simply went straight for the iron mine after crafting some basic gear and collected enough Iron for the first well and stone house.
The rain catcher based on material cost and efficiency can't cmpare to the well in any way... it's only usefull if you go for native workers from the get go... which is a rather bad idea at the start in my experience (you should be able to able to deal with raids on your own or even better defeat a guard so you can get the talisman).

It's all up to the whims of the weather. Last time I tried to make one it didn't rain for like 25 days.

Besides the cherry blossom tree itself, is there any important events that would make it weird to have an elevated town north of the Native Boss camp (South of the Cherry Blossom tree)? I was thinking of strategic locations that have a lot of easy access by foot but also just scenic with some good horizontal room to maneuver.

It should be 100% (0.41). If im not wrong it has one of each girl and "monster-girl" available, aswell as one of each type (slave giant and love giant, slave sally and love sally, slave shino and love shino...). It also has a basic base layout with walls, house and basic crops/mine...

save.rar has all the files required you just need to extract it on: 'Mad Island_Data\StreamingAssets\XML\'

While I can't say "why", there's usually a ton of possible reasons for such things.
Some possible examples:
- Removed unnecessary and unused assets
- Reduced Texture-Size / Compressed Textures
- Stripped code (unused code removed from libraries/own file(s))
- Asset combinations (Instead of having duplicates for the very same asset, they might've merged them and referenced them accordingly)
and many more.
While I don't know if any of these is one of the reasons, such things can be a reason.

Is there a hotkey for opening the options tab? I was able to click the gear once and i changed the screen resolution and now I can't click the button anymore. I tried changing the resolution back to what it was in the main menu but nothing. The bottom right corner where the gear rests is just completely non-clickable for me which means I can't save the game... Oddly i can click all the other buttons in the corner without issue though.
