Seems to work good so far, fingers crossed.
Was thinking of the same but a bit of a deal breaker was some of the DLC animations not being in, so since they are I think I am good to play this game until new animations come in.
Malware bytes and windows defender did not pick up anything. Anyone else wants to scan make sure?
Are these beta versions still missing content like 0.41 was? If so is 0.41 playable as stable now with the normal content?

Don’t worry they made a scene for the large dlc female but not the underground version.

So far it's working pretty well for me, further testing requires.
Important Note:
Due to Forum Rule 7, You're forbid to post/share the Loli or Shota related files or images
Update Mad Island Version 0.42 is mainly about the DLC content which is about Loli/Shota
If you want/desire the DLC file to download, just search for the Developer's website for it, Google it.
Once you downloaded it, no need to extract it, just find the DLC folder (above XML folder) and shove it in.
You'll know it worked when you see them(Loli/Shota) around the map.
Here's how Mad Island's Save system works
SaveData/SaveImage/SaveMap/SaveSetting/SaveView/None.bat is interchangeable with Any Versions/Platforms
When people update their game, they only need to put XML folder into the New Version and it'll work without issue
What's None.bat? basically a decensor file for Mad Island
This isn't like RPGMaker Savefiles where Versions matters.
Ultimately you can just use Cheat/Console commands to give yourself some boost to make the game easier over asking for Saves.

hi, I just read your post I have a problem with the saves, basically I bought the steam version and I tried to pass my 5 saves in the folder but the loading seems infinite it can't generate the map while if I load the save 1 where I had only built 1 house it works....what should I do?

Would you mind try and do this?
Keep the "SaveData/SaveImage/SaveMap/SaveSetting/SaveView/None.bat" files
Delete the "StreamingAssets" folder
Go to steam library -> right click -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify Integrity of game files
Another Possible cause...using Old dlc file?
Be sure to go download the 0.42 one on the dev's website.
I do not know the issue, so this is a Guess-work on it.
