Just follow this Thread and u will manage to uncensor the game 100% by yourself, not just partly with using none.bat and/or bepinex plugin (which lags the game). Just did it for myself and its 100% uncensored and works great without any none.bat or plugins.

Right. And this is why I reacted that way. Everyone's lumping everything into the same bag so that now people say "AI" to refer to LLM's (Generative AI) but also spellcheckers that have nothing to do with that. I'd just never heard of it used in the context of gaming (but then I never was a huge gamer) so heh, learned something new today, yay?
To me, AI will always be associated to Science-Fiction (Star Trek, yes, but also Asimov's R. Daneel Olivaw, or 2001 Space Odyssey's Hal) and GenAI just doesn't cut it, so it annoys me when people call it AI. Though we have company execs to blame for that.

On the subject of AI in games, i think the highest form of usage would be like how they made darth vader in fortnite. However rather than just give it total freedom just load it up with only the lore of the game and you'll have the closest thing to living breathing npcs that react to your actions in proper context of the game world. I'm talking total immersion here, the closest you could probably get to being actually isekai'd in terms of interaction or something. Elder scrolls, zelda, dark souls, whatever, i'd love to play a game like that in my lifetime. And the fun wouldn't stop there because when modders get their hands on it they could then unlock the ai, giving it the freedom of the fortnite vader but when you start talking about shrek or chun li's thighs, it'll be because those mods are also in the game. Thomas the tank engine is torching the town and the residents are reacting specifically to that scenario, I think that would be an experience.

I personally can see non-gamers/players could easily get confused when AI got mentioned for games. Because even within gaming community these days, they barely use the term of "NPC's AI" or "AI Behavior". Still used, yes, but rarely. At least from my point of view.
The term usually goes around within Game Developing circle, since NORMAL players don't actually get involved on creating that asset. Players just tend to learn and research on "How the NPC would behave", usually to get through the game. For example, a boss fight, there are moments like "When HP is lower/They did that posing => Become This Action", this is what the "AI Behavior" are basically used for.
It is something that players could, or should predict, and expect what the NPCs would do. Sure, it can be an unexpected surprise, but not something that totally entirely locking their game progress to halt(In exception to Game Over that is).

"We use AI to assist us in the management of the dock" - well, that, too, is no AI, really...
As I have seen non-gamers asking "Why not use AI there or there to improve xyz or to cure this and that?"
Though, it is also often times difficult to find a fitting word, especially in the spur of the moment, when attempting to describe something more difficult to someone with no prior experience/knowledge, especially when other more fitting terms would likely be quite "specific" and topic-related, leaving the other person who probably never even heard the word with not even a thought of understanding.
(Same when a doctor tells me I have this or that and just think "aaaaand that means?"
Yes, when it comes to names of illnesses or whatnot, I am an absolute newborn... I just can't remember them - and that's also why I certainly won't be a doctor (Thank god, I'd spout so much bullshit otherwise - still am, but it'd cause even more harm then...)While not involved in creation of it, there's quite a few games that utilize the term AI.
For example PvP strategy games with the option of "AI" players (essentially singleplayer, or similar)
Although I do have to admit it has been a while since I last played any new strategy games that focus on multiplayer and such.
Though, there are also games which refer to them as "Computer" instead, so there's that too.
Nevertheless, in various gaming communities (not development, but playing) there's still lots of mentions of "AI", although certainly less over the years (often times intending to talk about the Pathfinding or similar, but still)

Ahhh, I remember back in the 2000 where I got confused to these things. I go like "WHAT DO YOU MEAN COMPUTER!?" And had imagination somewhere around the edge of the world, had a human with a BOX MONITOR head playing as [whatever the thing] I face in game.
But then again. Technologia Movies back then tend to go like "COMPUTER, TURN THE CCTV ON", so when it comes to AI, those are the things that gets into my mind before even knowing it was AI they speak to.
Well, even back then, most Fighting Games I played (PS1 & PS2) used the CPU or COM labeling.
I only learned about "AI Behavior" term after getting into MMORPGs, and gets deeper into it with M.U.G.E.N.

if i download this will i get updated versions or i have to start all over again nd again for each update since i dont play in steam
You don't have to restart.
Just make sure to move your save files into the folder.
Located at Mad Island\Mad Island_Data\StreamingAssets\DLSave.
Though it is highly recommended that you start a new game with each major version to prevent bugs. Such as going from version 4.4.x to 4.5.x to prevent bugs from all the stuff being added.
You also have to reapply the none.bat uncensor file, and redownload and apply the DLC to Lansser's links since they aren't included.

i kinda get it now.. last question hehe sooo if i save that file and put it in the new updated version.. will i get my loaded version back? cause i recently downloaded mad island again since i was using old version where there was no yona x male and kana x male
I'm going to ask, although it might not be possible anymore... I didn't know I needed the knife before fighting the first boss to rescue Kana and Lulu, and I'm too far into the game to restart... Is there any way to modify the XML file to make it seem like I cut the ropes and the girls are waiting for me outside?
