No, but sometimes I see it as one of the possible future scenarios.
Well Matt IS in love with a prostitute after all...but no, not only is Pam severely beyond damaged goods, but Matt gets to whiteness Pam's downfall sleeping with his former friends and pond scum through all the cameras installed. It's one thing knowing someone is a prostitute, and another thing entirely seeing it.
But hey, who knows what the Dev will do...I used to think this was a redemption arc story where Matt grows a pair along with a spine and takes Chris, Pam and all their subordinates down. Instead it seems to be a story of a poor sap that gets betrayed and screwed over by everyone over and over again.

I am new to this game, just started S1.
How can I save? I can't seem to get it :)
Also is there a rep;ay gallery to track our playthrough, if yes, please where can I find it. I saw the picture gallery but it is not a replay... Thanks
There are only auto-saves in this game. You can download auto-save via the Load tab in the main menu. Replays of open scenes can only be viewed using auto-saves. There is no separate menu tab for this.

For the most part, it is a redemption arc story. But it's also a choice-based game. Matt will have a choice whether to stay with Patti or not (if he has one at all, since this is only one of the likely scenarios so far) only after he grows up as a character and corrects all his mistakes in behavior with her.

I'm curious if there is literally anyone who would go for the "get back together with the round healed slut Patti" route. But this right here is why it feels like it's a game of Matt getting betrayed and screwed over by everyone over and over again. His "partner" screwing and self compromising herself with Ramon, Serena enthusiastic with Chris and friends (makes her whole sob story of being forced into this life a pure lie)...never felt so bad for a MC in a VN like I do for Matt. No matter what he does or tries with his love interest, it leads to betrayal. How this doesn't turn into either suicide or going full Columbine for Matt will take some creative thinking.

I think, DAZ is a great technology: look at this picture - it is almost like a real photo.

Look at Taylor's face (and compare this image with those cheep 'cartoonish' games) - it feels like a 'real life" (like I am personally sitting in the room and looking at people there).

I wonder if ten years from now is it going to be really different...

I can tell you for sure that there won't be an ending like this in the game:). Instead, Matt will undergo a transformation and become stronger after going through all the challenges. This was my original idea for the main character, and it remains true to this day.
I see Taylor having sex with Matt as payback.I my opinion ruining Matt-Serena was a bad move from your part.It a unpopular decision if u read the previous post here.
But I didn't ruin Matt and Serena's path. After all, Serena is just doing her job. After her conversation with Matt at the cafe, where they cleared the air about their relationship, she's finding it much easier to do her job. This is why she seems so enthusiastic about it. Additionally, she's under the influence of an aphrodisiac, just like all the guests at the Williams' house. Plus, she doesn't know that there are cameras in Chris's penthouse and that Matt can observe her.

For me she is anymore a potential LI for Matt

Ha ha ha...

Chris is a very charming man. I can post some screenshots if you like.

But if you pay attention to his actions during the first party at his house.

Of course, none of it is real. We all know he is actually an evil man. But part of his danger is his charm and deception to pull you into his web. He is a really well written antagonist. I mean even Ramon looks like a puppy compared to Chris.

He reminds me a lot of the Antagonist in A Mother's love. Just his presence alone is menacing.

I mean, I even fear for Anna once she meets him. I'm afraid he will be able to manipulate her as well. (I doubt it, but it's possible)
To be honest - Chris does have some style (or 'class' if you prefer). He is always elegant and tries to keep his appearance (and yes, he is bold, but it not his fault).

So I personally think his party will be quite elegant and lavish too. I am talking about his party from this post - https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-turn-s2-v0-5-dondimon.12146/post-18099110

So we will definitely NOT see his guests behaving this way:

Couple of thoughts on Mat.
1) There absolutely is at least one player that will take Patti back ...cough cough ... Eleanorduval ..cough..cough...
2) Serena is a prostitute. And she works for Chris. What she does with him is "business" and is not a reflection on Mat or their relationship at all.
3) Mat being a loser. In what sense? He is getting fitter, he is getting stronger, he is getting laid often. I think on the last count, Mat's body count is on 5.

I guess it's glass half empty or glass half full.

My personal thoughts on Mat:

He is evolving (for better or worse) in this world.

When he was young he probably was told "you are a man, so your main duty is to support and provide for your family when you get married with a girl of your dreams, etc.", which he did initially.

But this old story does not work anymore. In a modern world (with Instagram, etc) many good looking women are not happy to just 'watch TV every evening and go for a nice meal once/twice per week' - the world changed a lot (we are not living in 1980s anymore as Mat's friend DonDimon explained him in the first season). Being 'a good guy, who works five days per week (to get a pretty average salary)' - means nothing today.

So Mat started adapting:
  • 'nine-to-five' work is no longer his priority (probably waiste of time, if he can make enough money working on the beach)
  • he is doing sports now (upgrading his looks)
  • he is learning a lot of new things (upgrading some of his mental dormant skills)
  • and yes, he is more actively dating girls (tries to enjoy his life).
So by no means he is a loser.

Can he do things better? Sure (there is no limit here), but I think Mat has a good pace and he has enough time to think things over to make right decisions in the modern world (hopefully).

Agreed. While I do not think his initial relationship with Patti was bad from his side. He was getting into a boring routine. Patti wanted more in her life.

I definitely like the "new" Mat more.

Yes, this 'new' Mat is becoming like a 'rockstar'.

But let's take a look at Patti now.

I disagree with your statement that she was from a poor family - poor people always get degrees from universities (if they can) in something like accounting, engineering (computer science) or medicine (if one is really smart). In other words, they need money to enjoy life a little bit (they are simply too tired of living from one paycheck till the next paycheck).

But Patti got her degree in art (which can be seen from her high quality realistic paintings) - money was not a priority for her (I am guessing, a middle class family). When she was studing at the University she met Mat - tall and good looking guy with a steady future job (which was a good choice for her - so she can continue her art work without worring too much about paying the bills).

And then (as you correctly pointed out - 'boring routine'). Mat comes home after work and he is a bit tired, so nothing special in the evening - a simple diner in front of a TV (or watching sports on TV) and occasional going out for food/drinks.

Technically there is nothing wrong with this good and stable life, BUT this is not 1980s anymore - now we have 'Instagram' and other 'amazing' social networks (which have plenty other people bragging about their 'successful life' - expensive cars and yachts, holidays, travel, etc).

Patti feels like she is slowly drowning (her life is moving nowhere) - her paintings/works are sitting home while Mat is busy/tired with his job.

In general, people who do art (painting, sculpture, etc, but not music - like pop-songs) are more interested in 'leaving the mark' in the society/history - FAME is their main hope/priority.

And then Patti meets Chris - who is older, but well mannered, well spoken, who knows things about art and politics and has good connections in the high society (plus he can arrange an Art Exhibition of Patti's work o_O).

This is exactly the glamorous life, that Patti was dreaming about!

So can we really blame her for leaving Mat and persuing her real dreams?

PS. Maybe next time we can take a look at Chris and some other interesting people.

Interesting take.

It is possible that she did not grow up poor for sure. But she was definitely not wealthy either.

So I'm old school, so I might view it from the 1980 perspective, but for me loyalty is the most important aspect in a relationship.

So for me 2 major flaws in Patti's personality are disloyalty and selfishness, and these 2 personality traits are the cause of the divorce. Mat's boring live is not a sin in itself. Its just Mat being Mat.

Being in Patti's position should be: Let's fix this thing with Mat and work on our Marriage or Fuckit I'm out!

I might be wrong about Patti and Mat.

And in fact, in many contries (like South America, etc) - a lot of girls would be very happy to have a husband like Mat, but in some other contries - a marriage can easily last only two years now.

Like I said before: Mat did not do anything wrong (when he was married), it is more like he didn't do enough (from Patti's point of view).

Mat thought that bringing home some good money (relatively) and not doing bad things (like heavy drinking, gambling, cheating, etc.) would be enough to keep Patti happy (as he was taught when he was younger by his parents).

But Patti wanted more (like I said before - she did not get her degree in computer science (etc) to have enough money to pay the everyday bills). Being famous was her dream.

And when she meets Chris - she sees her opportunity to finally become a Famous Artist (vs. a staying-home bored wife). She is not stupid and realizes that some sex would be involved too, but it is a small price to pay for her (considering that she enjoys sex too and sees a lot of guys checking her out).

Is Patti selfish? Yes ('and who is not' she thinks).

She also knows that her good looks are not going to last forever (so it is time to act now). Plus she could always get married again later (five years later or so): if she is a famous artist/celebrity - she could really find a great partner this time.

Obviously Patti does not know everything about Chris yet, so there is a good chance she will quickly change her mind...

Now about loyalty - yes, everybody agrees with this statement (at least publicly), but then some people 'change their mind' when some better opportunity presents itself (which is a bit sad).

I think, when we are young we all say/do the right things, but then we get older and see that the world is not 'black and white' anymore.

PS. Obviously, it is just a game (none of this is real) and we are just having a nice and friendly discussion. :)
