Wow, just goes to show how long it takes for an artist to be exposed of this sort of thing. I wonder how many more are out there. I do hope that this case wards off other artists doing the same thing. Prayers to those whose art got stolen

it wont, but the best you can hope for is those that do it won't get the same opportunities and be able to make a living off of it. this genuinely wouldn't be as big of a problem if maen wasn't making like 10k a month off of it.

a post on their patreon says they deleted it themselves claiming it was for their own sanity. Not actually part of it so I can only assume it was people pestering them about everything else potentially traced.

Now that they aren't tracing any more, supposedly, I imagine the time it takes to make an animation has gone back up to normal. She still posts WIPs on Patreon, but don't expect them to release as frequently as they used to.

Hopefully they give up the tracing. Enjoyed their content a lot so it sucks to see they were essentially just taking other people's work for their own content.

I was thinking to support her. Her porn is already extremely expensive (10$ for 1 min of animations many loops). Thats why I was unsure.
And then it comes out that her work doesnt justify the expensive porn, because she is too lazy to do honest work.
Would her animation not be so expensive, then I would not think it is a big problem ( I dont care about tracing).
But selling expensive animations with lazy work... I will not support this.

Yeah, It came out that she was lying. She told only 12 animations from her was "stolen" but then it come out that more than 27 animations from her are "stolen" work.
I think She deleted it because she cannot face the backlash or hopes that it people are forgetting it.

People wouldn't care if she asked permission and credited the original work. We all know this was motivated by greed for how much she was asking for it. Their are other animators that asked permission to make 2D animation of other people work, and that give you more value then what she been doing.
