RPGM is a lot more known and anyone can make a game with rpgmaker so you get many low effort games made with it. RPGM games need alot of custom scripts and assets to be good.

I second this. I prefer game made with older RPG Maker engines too. But it doesn't mean that games made with MV are actually bad, I think that it's just that this engine is more accessible than the other, so, more shitty ones. The latest Henteria Chronicles is good for example.

Yep, just like others said it's because anyone can pick it up and make a game, it's as if you said "Most games on PC are bad", that's also true because of how many games on PC can be made without effort in a short time.
Even if 90% of these games are trash, there are so many games pumped out that there are still a lot of good games.

There are a ton of great RPGM games, both japanese and western: Salvation, VH, Liz of the Tower are just quick 3 that come to my mind, there are hundreds of Japanese ones, for western ones there is also quite a few, for example: The Last Sovereign, Visiting Aunt Cate, Claire Quest, The Poor Whore, Caliross, Yorna, A Struggle With Sin and a few more.

its not that different in most countries including US. Except there companies with enough money ignore this or just put a debatable age rating on it.

So many enemies that are invisible and no escapable battles make this a grind, and the game is not very good
